The staff can vary alot, I have been on wards that were great and wards where the care was a bit lacking. The outpatient clinics are generally well run. Parking can be a nightmare and take plenty of change because it is pay and display.

I was admitted that evening, had scans and tests and was operated on less than 24 hours later ... At 7pm on a bank holiday weekend!! I was well impressed even with follow up information via a telephone call and the prompt post-op appointments booked. It is important to…read moreget any eye injury checked however and the staff are thorough,knowledgeable, friendly and helpful so you do feel that the wait is worth it. There are parking spaces on the road side and the access into and around the hospital is good. The area is clean, tidy and well lit. Be aware however if you have had an accident the lotions they squirt into your eye can mean that driving is dangerous so ask someone else to take you even if you feel you can drive there yourself.

There are lots of alternative therapies on offer here as well. The doctors are kind and understanding and the receptionists friendly and helpful. There is a small parking area outside which seems ample for drivers and the centre itself is always clean and tidy with ample lighting and a sense of calm. The nurses are angels and it feels like everyone there is doing the best job that they can. There are male and female doctors for you too see and private things dont need to be discussed at reception in front of the whole waiting room. This centre is also shared by another doctor who is independent but it doesnt interefere with the general running of the surgery in any way

Popular play corner for children inclusing a play house. Usual range of services including dispensing for people not living in Tavistock itself. Friendly reception staff. Has limited private parking out the back - however out front has on street parking where you can usually find a spot where you can park free up to 2 hours. Desk staff are all very friendly, as are the Doctors & nurses. As long as you phone in the morning at 8.30 you can get a same day appointment. Dr Walsh has recently retired - Replaced by a Dr Jones who is excellent. Also there is Dr Burdett. Closes at lunch times on wednesdays & from 12-2 every day - Has a late night which i think is mondays

I never experience a surgery that ever been one to make their patients more poorly because they actually fail to correct themselves .Scariest thing to do in a Medical Profession these people call themselves medical professionals I call them useless idiots.

This is the best surgery I have been to. There is a Boots very close by which is ideal for getting prescriptions from. The doctors and nurses always seem to be running on time.
