There is a place for your dog to roam, your kids to play, and plenty of seating both covered and uncovered as well as space to eat inside the brewery. We got the Napkins burger with the brussel sprouts being the star. The brussels come with pineapple thai chili sauce, but we liked the brussels without it and opted to use the delicious sauce as a dip for our french fries. The burger was tasty, but nothing out of this world. It was cooked perfectly and I liked the Napkins famous sauce on it. The only thing was that the burger kept slipping out of the bun and it was very messy to eat as we kept putting the burger back together. The shawarma with chicken thigh was delicious. I would pair this with the brussels next time and you'd have a winning combination. The fries were good too, but the brussels are the winning side choice. Glad we stopped by on our road trip for a satisfying and filling lunch. It's worth the stop and everything tastes fresh and is well worth the price. The brewery is not Napkins, but the staff inside behind the bar was super helpful and more than happy to let my husband try the beers before making his choice. The girl taking our order at Napkins was also very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend.

They've got a smaller selection of craft beer, but it's still delicious. I did a flight and tried their two lagers, the lavender ale and their porter. Porter was super light not really heavy at all. Has a small coffee finish. The lavender ale actually really surprised me. It was delicious but my favorite was by far that velvet blackberry lager. Just absolutely amazing. Their liberty lager is super light. I would compare it to the equivalent of maybe a Miller light. We did order food. My husband got the chicken wings. They come in an order of six and he got the lemon pepper rub. He really liked it. He said the rub was a little sparse on some of the wings, but overall it was good. I got the pepperoni, hot honey flatbread and really enjoyed it. The pepperoni is the nice cup of pepperoni that curls and the hot honey gives a nice balance with it. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. We sat at the bar and the bar was kind of a disaster. I'm guessing they must've just come off of the dinner rush because we didn't arrive until around 8 o'clock.

I may have one or two on my husband's phone that I still need to pull. Now, let me tell you...this place is amazing! And it was even better because our server was phenomenal. He gave us just the right amount of attention without us ever having to ask twice--or even once! He kept our drinks refilled and checked in to see if we needed anything else. That kind of service makes such a difference. The interior is unique and really cool. I especially loved the idea of hanging a full-size motorcycle from the ceiling. Definitely a great conversation piece! We had a party of five, and all five of us ordered something different, ranging from a chicken salad to tacos, hush puppies, and, of course, my Chopped Brisket Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. I'm already drooling again just thinking about it! The brisket was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of seasoning. But let me talk about those sweet potato fries... THE BEST sweet potato fries I've had so far! They were crispy on the outside and actually tasted like sweet potatoes. I've had sweet potato fries at other restaurants that were soggy and tasted more like frying oil than sweet potato. These were completely different--crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I 100% recommend them! So, if you're in the Charlotte area, do yourself a favor and stop by Mac's Speed Shop at 2414 Sandy Porter Road. Great food, great atmosphere, and phenomenal service. The deluxe devils if they're still on the menu are really good...deviled eggs with jalapeños on top! I like their tacos as well. They have a brisket taco that really smacks and the shrimp taco hits hard too. Service is consistently good. As far as ambiance, it doesn't really get any points for style....nothing really says "hey we're a speed shop" like you'd see at Quaker Stake or other speed themed bars and restaurants.
