We have been dining at Cork & Fork for years. It is our go to for Friday Date Night. The ease and friendliness of the staff, the food that is different than most menus in this valley and the setting is beautiful. That said, the newly added brunch, my goodness off the charts. As others have said, we went to Cork and Fork for the happy hour. We were there when it opened and they seated us outside. We had several small plates and a couple of drinks. When the bill came there was no happy hour discount. Apparently that is only available at the bar. When we sat down the happy hour menu was on our table. If it's not available for table seating it shouldn't be on the table. We talked to the "manager" who did nothing to make the situation better. We will not be back. read more

Great selection of quality wines at all price ranges. Creative and imaginative tapas with layers of flavors that can be paired with wines or enjoyed by themselves. We went on a Saturday night just before happy hour was over and sat at the bar. Our bartender Courtney was very knowledgeable about the wines and each of the dishes. I appreciated her recommendations for me. We started with the almond dates, the Thai shrimp cakes, the goat cheese bruschetta, and the shrimp & grits. As we were having a nice time and waiting on our last food item, a staff member came over and said they needed our table. Our first visit to Cork & Fork was fantastic! We have been addicted to Heirloom Kitchen since we moved here in January, and couldn't wait to try this restaurant, from the same owners. It did not disappoint. We enjoyed the brussels sprouts which we always love but these were out of this world! Next, we had the filet mignon tacos, also delicious. The best, best, best was the pizza, tho. It was "the Mike" pizza. So good that we are trying to figure out when we can go again and have another. Service was top notch. We hope the COVID restrictions will soon be lifted so that this and other restaurants can get back to full service dining. Decent, but not a "must return" spot. The food is a bit overpriced and the description isn't 100. I ordered the prosciutto wrapped scallops. My "prosciutto" was more of fat that wrapped my scallop. The filet mingon tacos were alright, but not a,repeat choice. The bruschetta was the best thing we had. The honey and pesto was a great add to this dish. We got an amazing goat cheese bruschetta- very creamy and freshly made pesto. Also go braised short rib grilled cheese which melted perfectly in our mouths. Each bite of every dish had us shaking our heads that it was so good. Fine selection of sojus and craft beers. Ended the night with brownie topped with Carmel gelato and ganache. This is no place for people with dietary issues. Very limited menu. The food we could eat was tasty and they seemed willing to work with us on the few items that could be altered but main courses were out of the question for diners with dairy issues. We had the most excellent experience at C&F with Kellie. I came with my fiancé and her family of 5 for a birthday, and we tried a wide variety of appetizers (Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and many others) that were all outstanding! Between us we had a wide variety or beer, wine, and wine cocktails that were tasty and entertaining with the styles. For dinner we ordered family style and split a number of salads, pizzas, and we had an extra helping of the short-rib grilled cheese sandwich! We arrived a few minutes after opening and were quickly seated. As the evening progressed almost every table filled, so be sure to get here early if you are looking to get a table. We've been twice since we found this place about six weeks ago. Ahi sliders and Thai Shrimp cakes are our favorite. The Pork Belly sliders were good, but had an unusual seasoning, same for the deviled eggs. The beef sliders were amazing, tender and flavorful. My husband loves their Mules. I've had a whiskey sour and a cosmo, both had enough alcohol but just ok flavor. Modern decor is attractive and the place still has that new car smell. Staff is a little thin and harried, but generally friendly and doing their best. We can't wait for it to cool off so we can try dining on the patio. read more

Then we tried the grown up grilled cheese with short rib inside oh yes! mac & cheese of the day...spicy goodness. filet mignon street sliders, these were really good too...then the rustic pizza, I know what you're thinking how did we eat so much, we had too! Everything sounded so good. But we had to finish with a butterscotch pot du creme...hey I love butterscotch and don't see it on too many menus. Nothing really impressed me here and the oldies music they kept playing was obnoxious. We ordered some fried cauliflower and requested some ranch, but were denied because apparently they don't have any ranch dressing in the entire restaurant. Only chipotle ranch or something like that. Their happy hour margherita/cheese pizza was uninspiring and average. We put the rest in a box, but I threw it away when we got home. It just wasn't very appetizing. The icing on the cake was having our waitress argue with me over $5.00, because I told her that we wanted the "happy hour" serving of deviled eggs instead of the "dinner" serving; which amounted to an additional two halves of an egg. Went here recently with friends and while I appreciate that this restaurant uses student culinary help, our food was cold, gyoza's tough and potatoes on salmon entree inedible and dry. Our other salads and appetizers were OK. Our waitperson was indifferent but not rude. The decor is lovely and my cocktail was delicious. All were good, especially the cheese sandwich which included brisket and the toast. They had a good selection of wines and a small selection of craft beer. The service was friendly and efficient. The one issue that we encountered related to reservations. Because we did not have a reservation, we were limited in our choice of seating and told their would be a time-limit on our stay. If we had desired dessert, we would have run up against the time limit. The Yelp listing says nothing about reservations. It does not note that reservations were available and recommended. For dessert, the King's Hawaiian Bread Pudding is a nice way to end the night, save room. Overall I'm a huge tapas fan. Why get one big selfish meal when you can order and share a variety of small plate specialties? We went there one night and we messed up on our reservation which was our fault, we then nicely asked if they had room and the hostess was soooooo rude to us. Like she was better then us. She then tried to give us a table of four when we had 5 people. The restaurant wasn't busy so it was sad. On the other hand the waitress was so nice and helpful. I have been a fan of Cork and Fork and the cooking school for years so my husband and I and another couple tried the new location last Saturday. The atmosphere is very pleasing and the food is good, though expensive but the portions are small. They had live entertainment, but the musician played and sang so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. Very annoying. We did not go there for a concert, we went there for food. At the end of the meal, luckily, our waitress informed us they add a 4% surcharge on the bill if you pay with a credit card! Really?! We all found this extremely offensive, and had the waitress not pointed it out we may have missed it. As a former business owner, to me credit card fees paid by the vendor are part of doing business. Don't pass it off to me. If you must then slightly raise your prices. We were offered the opportunity to pay with cash or a debit card. Considering the small portions (yes I know it's tapas like), expensive food, loud entertainment, and credit card fees, we will probably not go back. read more
