I see Cassie, who is nothing short of amazing, but I am assured that all of the health professionals working at Flex are more than competent. I think the key to this place is that they focus on rehabilitative care - they don't want to go on seeing you indefinately just so they can squeeze all the coin out of your pockets. They combine traditional physiotherapy and clinical pilates with deep tissue massage and even some acupuncture to speed the whole process up (only if you're open to it of course). It's this combination of tools employed that has been so successful for me and I can't recommend them enough!

It was purpose built not that long ago so it is nice and new on the inside with all the features to make your stay more comfortable. They definitely get through the workload quicker than the hospitals. They offer opthamology, oral surgery, orthopaedic surgery, paediatric, plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. In and out in a day and all in nice facilities. Worst part is the parking. There are only 2 drop off / pick up parks out front and very minimal parking other than paid in a high priced city car park. Make sure you have plenty of coins with you in case you are lucky enough to get a street park as it will be ticket parking too and limited time.

Luckily as I only lived up the road in a residential college, it was a short walk but I still remember it being a long one as I was so weak! The centre is appointment only but I was able to get in on the same day I fell ill so just give them a call and try your luck. The appointments cannot be bulk billed and are around the $100.00 mark. There is of course the margin you can get back from Medicare, so don't forget to save all of the receipts. The offices are very clean and professional. At the time I was seriously sick and the doctor was knowledgeable and thorough during my examination and asked a lot of questions regarding my state. Generally, I wouldn't go for somewhere that is bulk billed, however it was an emergency and I was happy with the service I received.

So I would gladly drive all the way to Woodville for diagnostic scans if it means I do not pay a cent. The staff were pleasant enough and I have encountered more abrupt staff in the high paying aforementioned firms. Highly recommended if you do not have private health insurance and are full paying without a concession or pension card.

(sad grimacing in pain face) Ooohh....ohhh...yesss!! You got me there! That's a hole in one! Haha! I'm loose and Happy! So, I'm guilty....I accidentally injured my back...as you can see from my stumbling entrance through your red door. Dr. Craig has seen me many times before so he knew how I did it too, and knew exactly how to fix it back all into place. Dr. Craig knows EXACTLY how to fix all your back, neck, joints and posture problems (everyone - this guy is fixes your back with the snap of his fingers, literally, I'm not even joking). Honestly, this is the most effective, quickest, and intelligent chiropractor I have ever met. It's been over 6 weeks since I last saw him and I'm still enjoying a much more flexible and injury-free back! The room always has the right temperature, comfortable, and you get a free smile, and a good laugh from both the receptionist and the chiropractor himself. Another thing I love about this place is that if you are running low on credit or cash, they can bill you for later. But make sure you can pay them when they post the delayed bill out to you, though. (Really? Only $29 for 5 minutes of treatment? Note: if you're willing to pay for it, it's cheaper for those that having private medical cover!) ...And they offer massages in the other rooms...maybe if they had one or two more new hot-looking massage therapists I would make this my new hobby! Dr. Craig is so cool to his regulars that we even talk about what we like to do outside of work, as I tell him all about my love for sports and injuring my back every few months....thus giving him a job to do...cause he's not complaining! I don't think I've met any other "allied health" clinic that makes me feel as comfortable and open as I do here. Ever since the day I first came here, I have made appointments here a regular thing. I know a lot of people have mixed opinions on chiropractors, but it works for me. That's all I can really say about it. I go, I get my back set again and I feel fine. Maybe all of those other nay sayers aren't seeing a good chiro, because Dr Craig is a damn good chiro. As well as chiropractic care he offers advice on exercises you can do at home to maintain your back. He is an expert on exercise and how to stay healthy. He's helped me a lot. Conveniently located just off South Rd above Sir Donald Bradman, the office is not much to look at but the service inside is excellent. A friend once forgot her appointment there and he called her after she didn't show up 10 minutes later and because she promised to be right there, he kept his appointment with her and moved the schedule around to accommodate her forgetfulness. And for a business in the medical and health industry which is not often known for its compassion in cases of human error, this was a great display of his high quality service. The only bad thing is the consulting rooms share a wall with the busy chemist next door. I don't know when the building was built but they must have made paper thin walls because you can hear all of the happenings in the Chemist! Annoying, but tolerable I suppose.

All bits of paper aside she has hands that hold magic-healing inside them. I understand massage is such a personal event, where one has to strip off most of your clothes and lay on a bed at the mercy of another. I felt right at ease from the minute I walked in and was greeted by Jade. Questionnaire completed I climbed on top of a hydraulic massage table, with a fluffy, white towel to cover my bare bits and the soothing tones of a classical piece in the background, asking me to relax. Jade entered the room and from here on was the best hour I have spent with a stranger in a long while. Her hands stroked and plied the muscles in my body and seemed to know exactly where to go next. With strong fingers, she pinpointed muscles that had held tension from years past and gently relieved them of their misery. After individual parts of my body were worked on Jade wiped the excess oil from me with a paper towel. When the massage was finished and I put my clothes back on I didn't feel like I had done twenty laps in a oil-spill. On completion I walked on air, I seemed to glide across the floor and it took no effort for my muscles to propel me and pay the $70.00 fee, which I gladly handed her. Humans are born with a gift, something they are exceptionally good at. Jade Bobridge has found her calling and is sharing her gift. I'm blessed that she lives in my town.

She cut my nails, but compared to a previous experience with a podiatrist years ago (my problem isn't chronic) it seemed to be poor value for the $65 it cost which included my private health cover.
