I wish the Y, like other gyms, would make the weight room a cell free zone. It's one thing to use your phone for music, but when I work out on 3 different machines, while waiting for someone to move on from one they're sitting on scrolling, it is simply infuriating.

It's a once a week, 45 minute class and just finished the Spring session. She gets a 2 week break and will start the summer class. We like it also, because my husband and I can also watch her while in class. Her teacher's friendly and have a lot of experience dealing with small children. The shop's very cute. They sell tutus, dance outfits, ballet and tap shoes and girls' accessories. Our granddaughter looks forward to every class and always asks to go to dance class. I surely recommend them.

As for programs and equipment, The Club at Oak Branch has Les Mills fitness classes (BodyPump, BodyAttack, BodyStep, etc.), they have a large pool (I think it's Olympic sized, but don't quote me on that one-- it's huge, though), a nice cardio room with plenty of treadmills, elliptical machines, etc., and a weight room. They also have a unique program for young athletes called Parisi Speed School, which is a program designed to help athletes improve athletic performance, maximize their natural abilities, develop a higher level of self-confidence, and learn to prevent injury. If you live in the Greensboro area, check out The Club at Oak Branch or their sister site, The Club at Green Valley. Both locations are great.! I saw a man take his 2 little girls into the men's locker room because that was his only option. I talk to management and no one cares. And they make no effort to make it better. Don't spend your money here. Go somewhere that values your business
