I spent 5 nights here in mid October on a climbing trip Wilder Kaiser. I found the place on hotels.com, but was told by another guest that it's typically a membership only place. My room was spacious, a large 1 bedroom with a separate living/dining room area (refrigerator, but no way to heat things). It was a little run down, but I wasn't exactly paying for a luxury hotel. I didn't bother to patronized the overpriced restaurant or bar, but I also had a car.
My biggest complaint was that I couldn't connect to the (paid) wifi at all in my room and was told that I was not allowed to switch rooms. I worked most evenings and it was very loud on the main floor, so I ended up sitting at a table in the basement, incidentally the place with the best wifi. I mentioned the problem to the reception, who said they would call tech support. They of course did nothing. I spoke to another guest who said he had problems with signal strength in his room. I'm not sure why they don't just shift around the access points.
