The system is that you get a large trolley and when you have finished a cashier and assistant transfere your items to a new trolley before you pay. They take cash only. A security guard checks that you reciept matches wahat you have ( like Macro or Costo does)

If you see something you like and cannot afford it you can put a deposit down and then pay in weekly instalments there is also no interest charge. There is all different types of leaflets front of the bank for example information on bank charges,loans interest rates home insurance,life insurance,tax savers isa,etc. The staff can sometimes be very pushy,wanting you to sign up to this and that. All in all eventhough staff are pushy they can be helpful if needed.
