From the moment we met her, she was cheerful, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. We originally stopped by just to ask about grooming because we saw a promotion, but Mandy went above and beyond to check availability. She told us she had an opening that same afternoon, so we ran home to grab our two Australian Shepherds. A few hours later, she called to let us know they were ready, and we couldn't have been happier with the results. Both dogs looked fantastic, and it was clear they were cared for with professionalism and kindness. Because of Mandy, we've already booked our next appointment and look forward to many more visits. They have something for all types of animal lovers, including various reptiles, birds, fish, rodents, invertebrates, and more! Unfortunately they are cash only, which is a downside for customers and the business alike. It's important for businesses to have a card reader in this era, so I hope they are able to change this in the future. Aside from that, I love this little pet store and visit frequently. After walking in I was immediately greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable employee who helped me find exactly what I was looking for -- I said rawhides when what I really meant was Bully Sticks. :) I spent around $45 on a nice assortment of dog treats (they have a very large variety including a multitude of small training type treats), a bully stick ring, and Tibetan dog chew. Who knew?! I believe the front half of the store is dedicated to dog items, middle of the store for cats, and then at the very back of the store in kind of a separate room is the food. Had I not just bought my dog's food, I would have looked to see if they carry his brand. I did notice they they carry a large selection of FROMM foods, which I've always been a fan of. They had a cute table of gourmet dog treats that you could use to create your own mixed assortment. Might try this next time. If you need a funny greeting card, look no further. They carry the Avanti brand, which is my all-time favorite. They offer some harder to find subject matters like pet-loss, pet-sitting, etc. Prices are more than fair. When I declined to spend more money, they accused me of wanting something for nothing. I never asked for that. They then asked EBay to ask me to change my feedback, and I again (with photos of the damaged items) refused. Their message to me: "We sent you what you ordered. If not happy do not order from us again. We held up our part and did not see any fault with the product. You can send back to us at your expense and we will refund you. Thanks Brian @ HRP" And another dig from them: "We offered a refund if you sent back to us. Why the negative feedback? Sounds like you are someone who wants something for nothing. If that is not the case send it back for a refund. Thanks Brian @ HRP." I guess they have no idea of customer service. Claiming if I don't spend more money to send defective product back to them, then I want something for nothing. Poor attitude, poor service.
