Open on Sundays, and an okay place to study which was what I was looking for.
The decorations are really nice (there's a beautiful hand-painted tree on the wall), and there are lovely paintings on the walls. The main seating area is clean and neat. The WiFi is quick and fast, but there aren't electrical outlets in helpful places, which I was annoyed with, the AC is on at like 150% which wasn't that fun, and the bathroom was covered in graffiti, was dirty, and was out of toilet paper.
The staff was simply unfriendly. I did not appreciate that at all. Both the waitresses I encountered were rude and snide, and when I took my bag into the bathroom with me, one of them actually came in at a run to make sure I hadn't left without paying. Just bad style.
Now onto the food. Because I was there for a couple hours I ended up ordering two things. The first was a coconut flavored, tea-based milkshake with soy milk, that was pretty good, except for that the coconut taste was weird tasting. Good though, sweet, but not too sweet, and nothing to really complain about. My second order was a mint tea, which she brought to me iced even though I didn't ask for it iced (I feel like ice is supposed to come hot but whatever), and when I asked for it to be hot I got a weird look. The tea was good though, and it had real mint leaves in it so kudos.
Overall, it's a nice place, but I wouldn't go here if you have other options, especially because of the staff. read more
