I'm torn on this review because while the food and our server were incredible, the initial experience at the host stand was really disappointing. Our waitress was absolutely the best! She was so kind, super attentive, and made a point to make eye contact and engage with everyone at the table. It was my dad's birthday, and they brought out a birthday treat for him, which was such a nice, thoughtful touch. However, the check-in process was very uncomfortable. The host who greeted us didn't make eye contact with me at all, a person with a disability. Instead of speaking to me directly, he asked the person I was with if I needed a child's menu. As an adult, being talked about rather than talked to was rude and honestly pretty embarrassing. It would have been much more professional to provide standard menus for everyone or just ask me directly if I needed anything specific. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious: The bread and butter were warm and a great start. We had the bruschetta and a shrimp appetizer, both were hits. Our table ordered the cheeseburger and fries, the salmon, and two orders of the short ribs. Everyone loved their meal and had zero complaints about the food quality. The restaurant was packed and had a high-energy vibe, but the music was way too loud, it made it a bit hard to talk. The lighting was also a bit strange; it was very dark, and at several points, the lights would flicker or completely turn off and on again, which was a bit distracting. If you want to go on a Sunday evening like we did (6:00 PM), definitely plan ahead! We made our reservation a couple of days before, but by the time our day arrived, they were completely booked. I'd recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance to be safe. I would definitely come back for the food and the excellent waitstaff service, but I really hope management works with their hosting team on how to treat every guest with basic respect and direct communication. read more

We visited for my mother's birthday and were made to feel extremely welcomed from the moment we walked in. It was a perfect celebration, largely thanks to the incredible service. Victoria was an absolute "apex server." She was so kind and attentive, but what really stood out was her deep knowledge of the wine list. We ordered a bottle of the Cooper's Hawk White, and it was spectacular--absolute perfection! Her recommendations were spot on and paired beautifully with our meal. Coopers Hawk is always a great place to visit for wine, food, and friends. Everyone on the staff is always friendly and the ambiance is fun. Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere! We stopped her for date night and started off with the Pear Drop Martini which was amazing, I will definitely be ordering it again. For dinner we had the Parmesan crusted Chicken and Chicken Piccata that both were awesome. Our waitress was great and always on the ball. The only minor thing I thought was when we walked in for a table with the hostess, she only mentioned the bar area and high tops when they had a ton of booths and tables. When I asked for a table instead it was a little awkward but they walked us over immediately so I wasn't sure why it felt uncomfortable. We celebrated my 40th birthday here last night and the entire experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. We began with a wine tasting and were taken care of by Jaylen (I hope I'm spelling that correctly). He was truly outstanding. His customer service was some of the best I've experienced anywhere -- incredibly warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He made the tasting so much fun and took such great care of us. The wines themselves were incredible, and he helped make the experience feel special and relaxed rather than rushed. After the tasting we stayed for dinner, and the experience somehow got even better. The service throughout the evening was fantastic. Our waitress was wonderful -- attentive, kind, and thoughtful without ever being intrusive. I unfortunately didn't catch her name, but she absolutely helped make the evening feel like a true celebration. We started with a bottle of Vin Velouté, which was unbelievably smooth and delicious. For our appetizer we ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts and I was completely blown away. The flavors were incredible -- easily the best Brussels sprouts dish I have ever had anywhere. For dinner I ordered Dana's Parmesan-crusted chicken with tomato basil relish, lemon butter, Betty's potatoes, and green beans. The dish was light, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Lemon can sometimes overpower a dish, but here it was done flawlessly -- bright and flavorful without taking over. Every component of the plate complemented the others beautifully. I desperately wanted to try the crème brûlée because it's one of my favorite desserts, but after the wine and such an amazing meal I was simply too full to do it justice. Instead, we were offered the birthday truffles, which turned out to be the perfect sweet ending to the evening. Everything about the night -- the wine, the food, the service, and the atmosphere -- made my birthday celebration truly special. Likely getting us seated faster, but next time I'll pass and wait. Outdoors the heaters are up too high to make a huge difference and some tables don't have a heater above them. The road to this busy shopping area is also nearby so it's noisy and you can smell smoke from the sidewalk if someone is smoking outside. They did move us in the end. We also don't drink so wine wasn't rated here but my goodness if you do they have quite the selection! The staff there was very friendly. There is a small gift shop where you can spend a few minutes looking around as you wait. After about 20 minutes, we were seated. My wife didn't care for the table and requested a booth. They accommodated our request without question. The restaurant itself is simple and elegant. Our server promptly asked for our drink order and asked if we had any questions. We placed our orders and were given a nice pretzel bread loaf while we waited. I decided on the Surf & Turf, with the Parmesan Crusted Filet Medallions and Salmon. They came with regular mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. I asked if I could substitute the potatoes for Wasabi mashed potatoes instead and was told no problem. Everything was delicious. The filet was tender and perfectly cooked. The wasabi mashed potatoes were out of this world. And the mixed vegetables were some of the best ever! My wife had the special Calabrian shrimp and really enjoyed it as well. There was only one small hiccup. The pot sticker appetizer was a no show. The server apologized and offered us a dessert. I'd say the Creme Brulee' was a pretty good trade off. My husband has a food allergy and we've been to three separate of their restaurants and none have been able to accommodate him. A "scratch kitchen" has always been able to put something together. All he can order there is a burger. I ordered a risotto dish that had been reheated and had cold parts. We sat on the patio which was great but the music was so loud you had to talk loudly to hear each other. We could hear all the other conversations around us. Our server, Caitlyn, was wonderful. I happened to walk in on my birthday and was seated after a short 10-minute wait. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious, with a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the house-made peach lemonade, but initially received a passionfruit version instead--and only one. The manager quickly addressed the mix-up and brought us two peach lemonades. While the gesture was appreciated, the lemonade itself lacked a strong peach flavor despite being made with peach purée. At $6 per glass, I expected a bit more in terms of taste. We started with the eggrolls as an appetizer, which were outstanding. For entrees, we tried Ellie's Chicken Piccata, the Enchilada Stack, and a cup of Chicken Tortilla Soup. The chicken piccata was flavorful and well-prepared. However, the enchilada stack was unexpectedly sweet--more of a tomato-based sauce with a sugary note, which isn't typical of enchiladas. Fortunately, the team allowed me to order a replacement entrée, and I went with Dana's Parmesan-Crusted Chicken. That dish was excellent--rich in flavor and definitely a standout. The chicken tortilla soup, on the other hand, was underwhelming. It tasted more like a basic tomato soup with Southwestern seasoning and lacked actual chicken or depth of flavor. The food was very disappointing. My wife and on of our guests ordered the short ribs. The mushroom risotto was good but they shredded the short ribs and mixed it in and there wasn't much meat. What a night! Went to Coopers Hawk for Valentine's Day - it was crazy busy. Had 2:15 reservations, got seated @ 2:30. Wall to wall people. Everyone was super friendly, even as busy as it was, with the exception of the female employee working on her computer where you check in. She would not look up to help you, and if addressed directly she was very short and bothered by any customer. The host who took us to our table was engaging. We got a fantastic group of waitresses at our table. Everyone was helping out. We sat outside, I requested patio seating and it was a beautiful night. The road is loud but loved the fresh air. We ordered pot stickers for appetizers and they were delicious. Bloody Mary's were fantastic. Our party of 4 ordered steak and lobster, fillet mignon medallions, & short ribs and mac n cheese - it was the only time we quit talking. Dinner was amazing. Dessert was the banana pie and cookie with ice cream. Both equally decadent. We went back to the lobby and bought a beautiful bottle of wine and looked at their case of chocolates. We love this place, we've been there twice now and must say the chef knows what he's doing. I love that management walks around the restaurant the whole night checking on customers, this is lost on other restaurants and definitely pays off here. This winery and restaurant shares the Costco parking lot so there is plenty of parking. We ran over for lunch while getting new tires done at Costco. I was glad it was open so early for lunch. I had assumed it was only open in the evening. I've been wanting to try the spot since it opened and today was our lucky day. We walked in without reservations and got seated in three minutes. We went to CH for a last minute dinner to celebrate our 5 yr wedding anniversary and it was our first time going. We had a reservation for 7:15 but was informed it would be more like 30 since they were waiting for people to leave (no biggie) we got seated and the little card said it was our anniversary and our server Stephani said happy anniversary and offered champagne. Sadly I cannot have carbonation and informed her of this but wish she could have offered something else in replacement to help us celebrate. My hubby asked if I could get a glass of the blueberry wine and she said oh no they wouldn't let me do that, but how about going to check and see because you never know?! We feel like after that moment she just brushed aside that it was our anniversary and kind of rushed off after getting our drink order. My hubby wasn't the happiest that she rushed off because he didn't even know what kind of bourbon was going to be in his old fashioned nor did she ask what he would like. Luckily it was bullet. For dinner I got the grilled medallions and he got the filet with the wasabi butter potatoes. We both enjoyed our cuts of meat but his potatoes tasted awful. He was not happy about it and when she came to check on us after a long while he couldn't even finish swallowing his food to tell her before she just took off. One thing we were surprised about was how long it took for our food to come and at that point it wasn't that busy but it seems to be trend per reviews we've read. For desert we got the smores bodino and it was tasty, but too much chocolate mouse and the vessel it is in, is not functional. Seeing the layers in the clear seamless wine glass is cute but hard to eat and get into. If it were in a larger ramekin, it would be much easier to eat and the marshmallow layer wouldn't be as thick, making it more of an evenly distributed bite of flavors. My 2 biggest pet peeves were when our server boxed my food, she boxed the scraps no one would ever box (like eww) and the tables just sat there dirty. One table in front of us left around 8pm (close it 9) and it sat with crumbs on it and a glass and then other table left at 8:30ish and it was still covered in dishes as we got closer to leaving. A restaurant should take pride in their appearance no matter how close to close and get tables cleared, plus I'm sure dishwashers would love to have them brought back sooner so they don't have to stay too late. Overall it was good food but nothing to rave over and the serve was just lack luster. Maybe in the future we will give it another shot to try different entrees but for now it's nothing I would tell friends and family they need to try. read more

I've always had our reservations met in a timely manner and if we just walk in, there isn't usually much of a wait then either, even though it's very popular and almost always very busy. We chose Cooper's Hawk for our celebration dinner after our marriage ceremony and came as a party of five. The food was outstanding. We ordered several appetizers and entrées, and everything was a hit--especially the drunken shrimp, crispy Brussels sprouts, and the Caesar salad. The Caesar pesto dressing was so unique and absolutely incredible. I ordered the gnocchi alla vodka (without the sausage) and it was so good, and my (brand new) husband devoured his filet mignon. Our guests all really enjoyed their meals as well. He also loved the Nightjar sangria! We also sampled some wine while waiting for our table, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, and we really appreciated the complimentary sparkling wine they brought out for us to celebrate. Unfortunately, the wait times were pretty rough. We were there on a Monday evening with a reservation and were seated around 6:30 pm (our reservation time). We ordered fairly quickly, but didn't receive our entrées until almost 8:00 pm. Drinks and appetizers also took quite a while. Our server, Travis, was very friendly, but the restaurant was extremely busy and check-ins were pretty infrequent. That said, the food really was that good, and we do plan to return. Hopefully next time the timing is a bit smoother, because this place has the potential to be truly excellent. read more

The wine club pressure has to stop. We look forward to eating the food and we enjoy the ambience but the wine club pressure is unnecessary. We have been wine club members for a couple years yet every time we have come in recently the only thing the server talks about is the wine club. We're already members! We don't want to hear about it!!! In the past we have brought guests in and the servers pressure our guests to join - most of our friends don't drink they don't want to hear about it. All of these occurrences make us question coming in because it simply ruins our experience. Please just let us enjoy our food enjoy our time with guests. I wanted to share some feedback from our dinner visit tonight. Our waitress was wonderful and handled everything with kindness, and we truly appreciated her. There were two issues during the meal that I felt were important to mention. When the bread arrived, there was a hair in the butter. Our server apologized and replaced it right away. Later, one of the entrées at our table was served cold, and the kitchen remade it and comped that meal. What stood out to me was the difference in how the two situations were handled. Even though the bread and butter are complimentary, the issue still affected the dining experience, especially since it involved a sanitation concern. My husband and I came to have a date night which was much needed and this place did not disappoint! Parking was good, there is enough parking spots. It's located in a shopping center with different restaurants and stores so definitely enough parking. The service was great! While waiting to be seated we did some wine tasting. We are newbies to wine so the bartender was really nice and patient. We got seated pretty quickly after we finished our tasting. For dinner my husband got the surf and turf which he picked the Parmesan crusted filet medallions with the dunked shrimp and the sides it came with was green beans and mashed potatoes, that plate was $45 For my dinner, I got the 8oz filet mignon and the sides it comes with is broccoli and mashed potatoes, that plate was $46.
