Did some grocery shopping here before leaving Montesilvano and driving to another place for a few days. This Coop here - inside a Mini-Mall - has it all. A big fruit and veggie section, fresh meat and cheese counters. A fish/seafood counter, all kinds of household products, all your basic grocery items and a smaller, but fine alcohol section. Bought some veggies, water, soda, milk, beer, wine. Also a good amount of fresh pannocchia (squilla mantis) for dinner. These are not easy to find. Even in Italy. Then some Tanqueray Gin, Campari and Amarena Cherry Liquor. Also some anti-mosquito candles for al-fresco dinners. Really had everything we needed and everything we hoped for. As usual for Coop the prices are on the lower side. Quality of the products is high though. Always fun to shop at this chain. read more
