Although I do not speak Swiss German, I did not have any problems interacting with cashiers. Note that most stores not at a train station close around 7 pm during the week and are closed all day on Sunday. Also, bring a tote bag for your purchases. No attempt to cover the cough at all. As she grabbed my bread, she again coughed (the good sick cough) on my bread. As she was wrapping my bread, she realized that coughing on me was not an option, so she turned her head and gave a few good coughs into the muffins for sale. I was so shocked I did not know what to do. I notified the company of this and they cared not to respond or give any indication that this is inappropriate behavior.
