She immediately became aggressive and told me to "fix my face or fuck off" . I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and ignored them and began to enjoy the show when suddenly her husband comes over to me, leans right in my face and tells me "Do you have a problem? Because I'll give a problem, cunt." He then threatens me and my family and says he can't wait follow me after the dinner and he's going to slit my throat. Obviously I was extremely distressed. I left the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to a manager but absolutely NOTHING was done! I was told I could leave ( no refund on meal that was $500 for three people) or return to my table where I felt afraid and intimidated. I returned to my table because we had paid for the evening. But I was so upset and did not enjoy my evening at all. I felt sick. Why is it ok for a man to threaten a woman at the Hilton? He should have been removed for threatening me. I asked to call the police because I wanted to pursue the situation but the Hilton asked me not to call. I agreed because I thought they would deal with this man and his family but they did nothing! In retrospect I should have called the police because what this man did was not ok! Do not stay or dine at Hilton Surfers Paradise because they will do NOTHING to protect you against aggressive people. I will NEVER patronise them again and, as a local, I will advise everyone to avoid this

The rooms are beautiful by far the best bath tub and shower and this is the only hotel I've been to where the elevators have a luxe leather bench to sit and rest your weary feet for all of 2 floors. Yes, I made it a point to sit down every time.... At first I was kind of bummed there was only 1 hotel dinning restaurant which is a buffet in addition to the Oasis pool bar but just across the bridge and within a 2 minute walk there are a ton of restaurants on the water. Therefore I decided it wouldn't kill me to get out of the hotel- bad feeling gone! The pool has a swim up bar, the only thing I do wish is that there was an outdoor spa. This would have been nice in GC's winter of 68-70 degrees/ 18-20C :) I can't wait to come back and stay here again!

Very attentive and helpful, He even helped us with our bags when we had to park a small distance away when first arriving. Only thing that could of been better is the parking. $17 a day and your not guaranteed a park near the lift up to the hotel. Also our 4wd was close to touching in some parts and we couldn't drive down to the sections where the roof was lower than 1.74m. Most of the parks we just fitted at 1.8m. Seemed to find a park eventually each time we left. Overall I'd stay here again and recommend it to others! Close to everything and the trams really is excellent!

It's deceiving at first when you drive into the property. The entrance is separated by a lower section of outdoor and indoor parking. Check-in was relatively easy and the front desk staff is friendly as well as helpful towards answering questions I had of the facility. The fitness center is not 24 hours but from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. still works in my schedule. The fitness area is separately divided from the cardio space, free weights, a group exercise room with punching/kicking stands, and a room for sport performance drills. Housekeeping does a fabulous job and the food service is excellent. The only issue is when outside groups show up as they did on a Wednesday evening (local high school prom) and the lobby section/bar area was a madhouse, where you couldn't even get through to other areas of the lobby due to the sheer volume of people and the lack of organization to create space safely. Some sort of school formal was on too, which was exciting to weave my kids through. The lobby is very open and almost looks funny, but there were no line-ups or delays. The only thing I could fault this resort with was the parking. Although we were lucky enough to find ourselves some parks with all the events happening, there is only a small undercover area and outdoor area to park so many times on the weekend hotel guests may not even be able to get a park there. This is a very popular resort, and it's a nice one too, for RACQ members it's only $166 a night for a room with 2 double beds... which is a bit of a steal for a place like this.
