A problem I have with bike shops in Manila is that they have practically zero online presence. Sure, they post a photo here and there, but they largely ignore the potential of e-commerce. I know that buying a bike is better when you're at the store yourself, but browsing through an online catalog for stuff you can buy (and not necessarily need) is fast becoming a national pastime. It's time that traditional bike shops get up to speed.
CoolStuff 168 has an extremely detailed and well updated inventory of their stock online. You can literally spend hours just checking out accessories they sell. The good thing about them is that they also have an actual brick & mortar store, for the the old-school kind of guys that need to hold something in their hands before purchasing.
The store is inside what looks like a residential unit so might need to do a double take. Just ring the bell and someone will guide you inside. read more
