After some friends told me about the Cooking Wu, I decided to visit this restaurant (also because i am loving asian food). I was coming from squash training and the first thing i thought, was, that an evening attire would fit there better than my leisure wear.
Large, dark glass windows are dominating the view from outside and the dimmed orange lights are shining through.
The dining area is divided into the non-smoking area in the front, then you walk ober a small bridge, which leads over a small pond with goldfish (sic!) into the back area, where also bigger tables can be arranged, for events oder parties. Around the areas and between them there are stylized bamboo woods.
Between the areas you find the most remarkable thing, the open kitchen, which offers a mongolian barbecue grill. An this works like this: At your dining table there is a card, with six different clips. Every clip stands for a sauce and is described on this card. You choose a sauce and put this clip onto you dish. Then you choose from the buffet, which offers vegetables, meat (even veal), noodles, rice, fruit
Then you give your dish to the cook, who makes you your chosen food. This is then served to your table.
Beside the fresh ingredients you can also eat sushi, different fried food, salads and desserts.
And the best of it: You can eat all you can eat!
The Slogan Relax, enjoy and fill up energy! describes my feelings the best way. The meal is good, an even if it wasn't, i didn't recognize, becaus the atmoshpere is catching you attention.
