Came in with high hopes and it turned into a nightmare. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I have been dealing with their issues and mistakes for 2 months. The mechanics and staff are not trustworthy. Every time I picked up my car it had a NEW issue. I've been going back and forth now for a month with them as issues pop up related to work they have performed. A specific example: the system had an air bubble in it after they did coolant work. I specifically asked to make sure, "you bled the system right" and never got a response. Then I was told yes. Then, surprise, my car overheats unexpectedly and when I take it in there's an air bubble. The second time they gave me my car back, I found a big fat LEAK coming from a gasket. I don't understand how this shop is still in business. Super unprofessional (they hung up on me, I am currently having to follow up multiple times to get a receipt and documentation from the most recent work they did. This shop is SO SHADY!! I recently had major work done on my vehicle and David was amazing to work with. Not only did they text pictures and updates of the work being done as the week went by, they kept me informed every step of the way. After the work was finished they realized it wasn't 100% and kept it for another day until they were happy with their work and could back it up with the crazy good warranty I was given. I'm happy with their work and their communication. Now since not everyone is perfect the only thing that was a flaw that I didn't care for was the additional credit card fee I paid for using a CC. Now it can be argued that at least it's not a hidden fee, but I see it as a cost of doing business. Also maybe I would have paid cash to save the fee but I didn't really have the option at the time. This is not a deal killer and I still rate it 5 stars. The cc thing was more of a minor nuisance. read more

They took my 17yr olds total savings of $4800 and sold him a car with a bad tranny, an oil & radiator leak, no front or rear wiper blades or lights on the license plates, a cracked engine Mount, covered up front end damage, etc. The car had obviously been parked in a dirt lot for some time based on the rat shit under the hood and the air filter. When I tried to return the car that was sold to my son without an adult, David told me he owed me nothing and denied selling my son the car saying he was just a translator for his main mechanics Joel. This guy is a crook. Takes advantage of ppl in need. It's hard to find a trust worthy mechanic. Never showed the peace's he changed. Then there are hidden fees. He gave us one total and at the time of payment there where hidden fees. In the cashier room there is a sing that day after 3 days there is a $35 storage fee, but at check out he charged us $65 for one day. The brake light on the battery likes on the dash board won't turn of. What a coincidence that there was so much work to be done on it but they had it ready the very next day including wating for parts to arrive. read more

I recently took my truck to cookies , David took care of me and was very professional and honest , I needed a thermostat / the hernia tat housing and possibly a new radiator and all the houses since my truck overheated. If you've ever been to a mechanic , we all pretty much expect to have to replace stuff we don't even need . That's just kind of how it goes . I expected to receive a $800 bill . Took my Cadillac SRX because of a stuttering noise and David immediately was very attentive and receptive to the problem I was discussing. They found car was leaking oil from head gaskets along with other issues and gave me options. Do not take your (european) cars to this repair shop, they made it sound like other shops are over priced and they can do it at more reasonable price, yet they will either leave your car unfixed with various reasons or even "break" it. RESPONSE TO OWNER: The below review was when I went to this auto place. The owner responded below...however I didn't go there for a diagnostic check. I needed my brakes changed and my brake fluid changed. I NEVER asked for diagnostic test on my car. He completely ignored the fact that I needed a brake fluid change. My car will send a notification stating the brake fluid needs to be changed. He said he wanted to do a diagnostic and the only days were Monday since it was the weekend and they only do those on the weekdays. I told him I'm here for a brake fluid change not for a diagnostic and my car doesn't have an engine light on. It was disappointing to be told to pay for something your car doesn't need and not have the issue you are there for addresses. That's why I went to another place and they changed my brake fluid and made sure the brake pads were changed. For this I stand with my review of 1 star.. Earlier review: I came here earlier in the morning because I needed my brake fluid changed. One of the reasons I went here was because of the reviews. However I unfortunately need to give them 1 star because of what I experienced. Here is the below pros and cons: Pros: Greeted professionally Clean Cons: Small parking space And this is where I put my story for the cons. I asked about a brake fluid change and my car was looked over. My car usually pops up a light when fluids need to be changed. When he came back, (the owner I believe) said that I needed an emissions check and to come back on a Monday. He will then charge me $85 to get it reviewed and from there check the emission and see what's wrong. What?! My car says it needs a brake fluid change? How? I left the store saying I would come back and went to another auto place. My brake fluid was changed and my brakes pads were found as needing to be changed also. Had only the back brakes and rotors replaced. Timely. Nice people but I think now after looking at price parts I over paid. Also I was told I could use card to pay. However i was not told that it would mean Taxes and service charge would have to be paid. So I paid cash rather than pay even more. the receipt has a flat price. Cost of parts and labor is not indicated. Just has a flat fee that's states "parts " no tax added. Definitely not claiming cash income at this business. An honest warning about this man COOKIE, he is a bonafide CROOK. He agreed he would repair both my vehicles of any problems he found after he performed an initial inspection, which was $150 per vehicle. His mechanic did his diags on both cars and all the "necessary repairs" he found came to a total of over $4000 worth of work. All I required of COOKIE to do the work was he fill out a standard W-9 IRS tax form, which simply tells the IRS where this large sum of money went come tax time (to be able to claim business expense). He said before he could sign he would need to "Check with his tax guy,". I said sure, np. Came back the next day and he flat-out refused to sign the form?! So to be clear, I was willing to give this guy $4000 for the job and he freaks out over an everyday tax form?? MONSTER RED FLAG. He is obviously cooking the books, but, I said whatever, just give me my $300 dollars back for the diagnostics and i'll be on my way. YOU GUESSED IT, this thieving arse pocketed it instead. Totally shameless about it too. Point is, if he is dodging taxes and screwin ppl over for a measly $300 , then what else is he up to? Phony diagnosis possibly?? Phantom repairs maybe??? who knows???? Big disappointment in this place today...about 6 or 7 months ago i went in with a check engine light with codes reading misfire in multiple cylinders. I took the car in because i had been to this place before and genuinely trusted the guys. They seemed honest, knowledgeable and real down to Earth guys. So right away they figured all it needed was a tune up, so sure wanting the best for my car i paid for the $700 "tune up". My check engine light came back on 2 days after with same codes and i had just been putting off getting it fixed because the car drove fine. Fast forward to yesterday, i started feeling the car shake a bit so i took it in to another mechanic that I've gone to for years. I left the car there over night and showed up today with boss telling me that whoever had done the tune up only changed 3 of the 6 spark plugs. Mistakes happen but 3/6 spark plugs not being changed seems like someone got lazy....and just to top it off, the EGR valve was clogged and that was the original reason for the misfires. I didn't even need the tune up to begin with. Definitely will not be returning to this place at all. I hope it was an honest mistake but i doubt it. I wish you the best in your search for a good mechanic but you might want to go ahead and skip this place. read more

Went here to get my brakes checked and serviced. Was quoted a very reasonable price of $145 for parts and labor for the front brakes (they inspected the rear brakes and said they only needed cleaning - not replacement). The owner was there and was very nice and accommodating. Sure, as the other review has pointed out, it IS a little difficult to get into from Palm ave, but honestly, it's not a big deal. They serviced my brakes (also adjusted my hand brake and offered to check/top off my cars fluids for FREE!) in just an hour or so. When I went back to pick up my car the owner himself told me about a program where they offer free fluid top-offs (oil, etc) for their customers once a month. All in all, great service, trustworthy mechanics, and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back! read more

pros...this place is open just about all the time. it is even open on sundays. service is pretty good, most of the time. it is really inexpensive to get an oil change and minor repairs done on your car. they are a complete shop and can do 99% of all repairs there. and the prices for major repairs is totally inexpensive too. i priced a job for my wife's car and found this place to have to best price. and if you buy the parts it's even cheaper. cons... it is hard to find and harder to get in and out of this place. especially on weekdays around 4-6pm. the traffic is just horrible. it is a small family owned place so don't expect a lot of perks when you go. waiting room is usually dark and not very comfy at all. but you go there for the price and they will fix you car. not the fastest place but it gets done. read more

This there a 0 star review because this place bites the dust. They had my car for 9 days and all I heard from them is excuses. This place I will report to BBB and make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone. They said that they can fix AC Problems so I was confident that they can. First two days I know that they won't solve it so I rented a car for a week Friday to Friday. The first issue was my compressor was bad so I agreed on a 229.00 charge to check everything. They said it was shot and they need to replace everything for 950.00 so I agreed cause you can finance it. Thursday comes and they said compressor was defective. I said okay get a BETTER one so it doesn't happen again and they said they did. Monday comes, a week later, and he said come get in 40 minutes. I come by and my car is no where close to getting done cause it's not even inside the Bay. Now they tell me second compressor is defective but I can take my car and they will close the ticket out without anything getting done and I can bring it back when be compressor comes in. Nope that's not how you do business. You close it out when it's done. So now their putting back everything with nothing done and still getting charged 229.00. Also they wanted me to close a $1000.00 ticket so they can get a warranty on a defective part. Yes you heard right. He wanted me to take my car with broken parts and he wanted to close the ticket with nothing fixed in my car. Also this business is not registered to the BBB. At last they want to charge me for everything they have not done and now I'm left with a car that I don't know what they did. read more

I needed an alingnment done on my Chevy Colorado fast! On my way to work early one morning a hit & run driver struck my truck and knocked it way out of alingment so I limped into Bebo's for the first time. They looked VERY busy but the mechanic started working on it immeidately because he saw i dressed for work. I thought it was going to cost an arm & leg but it was only $55!! And I was in & out in an hour. The mechanic even pointed out that there was additional damage underneath and gave me options for repairing it. He was honest and straightforward.
