I tried the sushi, dim sum, the duck noodles and a chicken dish and everything was off the charts! The atmosphere is a little upscale so dress to impress and the service is superb! Even the smell made me hungry. The kids menu has soup, fried rice and really good chicken with sweet sauce. (I would recommend after eating the chicken, pour the sweet sauce on the fried rice.) my parents said everything they got was good. The desserts that came with the kids menu was fried banana with chocolate ice cream. The atmosphere was very good and in total, we would come back anytime and recommend it to anyone. --a review written by a 13 year old.

Kenji is a great stop when you need a different bite of food.  Kenji sushi is a small corner restaurant in Old Town with a couple tables outside and a handful of indoor seating.  We stopped in on our daily food crawl through Old Town to get toro nigiri and a four piece of their "Special" maki roll (shrimp tempura). Their chicken yakitori is also a worthy bite. On our third and last visit, our order for the "Special" maki roll was lost in translation and we were served spicy tuna. Still good but the "Special" was our favorite.

I was very happy to stumble upon this little ramen shop while wandering around the neighborhood. I…read morehad been craving something hot and soupy for days as a result of being a little homesick by now. The ramen really hit the spot, The shop exterior drew me in because it reminded of the storefronts in Japan. The interior space was small and intimate just as it would be in Japan. Menu is small making it rvery easy to make a choice. I decided on a ramen featuring a local favorite, the boquerones, which also came with a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg. The noodles had a perfect bite to them; not too doughy or soft. Broth was nice and clear with well balanced flavor. Staff was friendly and attentive. The waiter was happy to repeatedly pour my cider the Basque way which requires a lot of arm motion and coordination. Apparently, the cider has to hit the glass in order to reach maximum potential. This little spot was a refreshing break from the tourist crowds in Old Town, especially if you are craving some Asian flavors.
