Delays were constant, and there was a lack of clarity regarding the progress of my matter. She actually left a very large estate with the main beneficiary being her second cousin once removed. This in itself should trigger a trust rather than a will. I could go on for pages highlighting all the many areas of incompetence, but I'm writing this short summary to warn others to find someone else to handle. He was really polite and organized and responsive but I needed someone to flex more muscle sort of speak given that the other side was really tough, pushy and making ridiculous requests which lead to a lot of unnecessary back and forth and which lead to me getting substantial billings. Hiring a lawyer should bring peace of mind and confidence that someone is advocating for your best interests. Sadly, that was not my experience. Without this firm's talented legal team my ex probably could have taken advantage of ambiguous wording and non-expiring provisions. Though I agreed to this expertly composed and reasonably thorough contract without my own legal representation, it turned out to be as good or better than I could have done had I chosen to spend my own money (which I didn't have at the time) to let a handful of competing family law attorneys churn and burn our accounts while we argued over teacups and drapes.
