Nuns make these sweets based on recipes pass down from centuries ago to support their humble living. Since it's a cloistered-order and the nuns avoid direct contact with the public, a lazy susan like revolving device is used to deliver goods and payment so you won't see the nun that you are doing transaction with. You order first, wait for the lazy susan to turn and your goodies appear in front of you, you take the food and put money on lazy susan before turning it again, if change is required than wait for lazy susan to turn yet again.
