Luckily I showed up when there was an availability right then. so I got shampooed and conditioned then off to the chair for one of the most amazing haircuts I've received! the staff is always professional and friendly. I had seen the Salon up for sale prior to this appointment so I was kinda nervous. However, I found out that the super-friendly Lady that was cutting my hair was the owner, who has at least minimum 2 years education. The business was very clean, tidy, and well set up. My hair was not just cut evenly it had an updated style to it. which is very rare for me to go somewhere that gives a good haircut, but cuts it in a way that it has a new trendy style! I was very impressed. The only reason that prevented me from returning here often enough was my hectic schedule while in Prince George, and that I now reside in Vancouver. As I was busy at work, also preparing, and saving for school I never got to relax much in PG. I regret not being able to drop in for a cut as often as I wanted to. The owner helps to train the stylists, she hires great people! I miss the Pepper Tree. The hotel where the salon is locate is a 4 stars establishment, which is realy good for a city like Prince George, and there is always security on the hotel premises. Not all the hotel staff is friendly, but they try at least, and it's a lot better than most places in a city like PG.

I should have made them but on their website they have the price set for a Balayage hair dye to start at $125. I barely had shoulder length hair. The hairdresser charged me way more and with the tip I ended up paying $406. I went back in right after to say this was not correct and her excuse was the prices went up. *!*! If the prices go up you need to change them on the website or at least inform the customer that they will be paying double. This is called false advertising. And if the hairdresser suggests something for your hair they need to inform the customer of it being charged extra before doing so. They knew I was bothered by the price and about a week or two later I get a phone call saying I "won" the draw I'd put my name in for which costs about $50 as if that should justify what was done. I know they picked my name on purpose so I wouldn't make a big deal about it but I would have rather received the $50 that I over paid. The hair dresser did not deserve that amount for a tip. The manager said she was not able to refund me the large amount I had given to the hair dresser and that was the end of the conversation. I know better not to use the % tip option from the machine next time. I was refunded a small amount for the hair dye but it still never justified how much I overly paid for the hair and tip. This company is obviously aware of what they do to rip off their customers and like to throw their hands up in the air and say the prices went up. They definitely lost a customer.

Why did they let me make an appointment, I made it on the phone the day before, when they weren't going to honour it? The three young ladies standing at the front acted bored and unconcerned.
