Temporary luggage storage is such a wonderful thing but researching its availability is most definitely not. TripAdvisor discussions indicate the Cordoba train station once had left luggage services, then might have gotten them back, but if not, the train station across the street should have them. The advice may be sound but not the most fun to roam around to find it in a largish station with luggage in tow.
In the end, it was thanks to posts from travelers on TripAdvisor that we used Consigna Vigilada, a private left luggage place across the street from the train station on Av America. It is also known as Consignas Ferroviarias, and the receipt simply says "Locker Cordoba."
A small, welcoming place festooned with international flags outside, there are small, medium, and large lockers to rent, at rates of 3, 5, and 6 euro per day, respectively. You take the key, and return anytime later in the day to retrieve. Lockers are spacious and very clean, although those with very large luggage will need to check the space.
The owner is a cheery, friendly man who will help with the lockers and provide a free map of Cordoba. He highlighted multiple areas of interest to visit.
The shop also sells miscellaneous travel goods, some luggage, and a bit of Cordoba related souvenirs.
Great, convenient left luggage place by Cordoba's main train and bus stations. read more
