I have been living in Germany for almost a year and visiting frequently for the last 7 years and my experience here was by far the worst I've ever had at any store or restaurant in this country. I dropped off my MacBook Pro for a warranty repair covered by Apple. I received an email four days later saying that my laptop had water damage and was not covered. But for only 1644€ I could have it repaired at their shop. Of course I certainly wasn't going to pay that for something covered by an Apple Warranty. Two different staff members at Implement-IT were extremely rude to both myself and my German speaking landlord. His report said he used a certified testing tool to determine that there was water damage. When I pressed him on this, he admitted he just looked at it once and then decided not to do any work. There was clearly not any water damage so I contacted Apple and they had the MacBook sent to another Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) in Frankfurt. Not only did the AASP there find no water damage, but they had it repaired and returned to me in less than a week with absolutely zero cost to me. Disgraceful. This store represents the worst of Germany and should not continue to be an AASP. Not a single part of their operation is respectable, professional, or honest. Bottom line: Extremely lazy, hostile and disrespectful with Americans, tried to get 1644€ from me for a free Apple warranty repair.
