Now, they've reinvented themselves as The Barn, and after blowing up on TikTok for their creative drinks, I knew I had to try their coffee. The Barn now offers so much more than your standard convenience drive thru. Their menu has leveled up with specialty lattes, dirty sodas, seasonal treats, and donuts. It was a crisp fall weekend and I was all about embracing the fall season vibes, so I went straight for a seasonal latte. The pumpkin spice latte came served INSIDE a real pumpkin! Not only was it super Instagram worthy, but the drink itself was a hit. Not overly sweet like so many pumpkin lattes tend to be. Definitely a fun way to enjoy a fall treat. My sister went for the Cookies and Scream latte, which was topped with a freshly baked Schmackary's cookie. She loved that it was both indulgent and flavorful, with the cookie as a decadent bonus. It's worth noting that these drinks are definitely on the pricier side. $38 for two lattes is a splurge, even by New York standards. But given the experience, and the fact that my drink was served in a literal pumpkin ... I can't say I regret it. Horrible customer service. There is never an attendant around to answer questions or solve…read moreproblems. The pumps NEVER have paper to print out receipts. Three days ago, when I stopped by to get gas, I scanned BJ's card and selected regular, but I noticed that the pump was charging me for premium gas. I tried to get the attendant(in his glass room) to help solve the problem or at least explain what was going on. He stared at me several times and then just turned his face away. I stopped pumping and went over to him to ask why I was being charged for premium instead of what I selected, and why there was no paper in the pump (as usual). He was extremely rude and adversarial, yelling from inside his booth that I should file a complaint with management. When I asked him--again--why the pumps NEVER have paper, he told me to look up the management's number and speak to them myself. He even refused to give me his name. I will not be giving them any more business. Even though the price is a bit lower, the operation and customer service are horrible.
