If I could give this business a zero I would. We noticed the TV we bought from Conns had blue spots and Samsung logo when the TV was showing light/white colors. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! They will lie to you and not honor their extended service warranties!!!! We bought an open box TV from them at the store it was on a dark screen saver so we did not see any defects. We had hesitation because it was an open box TV but we were told since we bought the Conns warranty that if we should have any problems in the next two years they would stand by the TV. So we bought the extend warranty and the TV. We called Conns extended warranty for a TV that we had less than three weeks, and let me list the problems with them.....1) did not show for the first appointment 2) On the second appointment showed but was rude and informed us that they would not honor the warranty because they do not cover what the blue spots and Samsung logo (AKA burnout). We called the store and asked for manager we did not talk to him but they left a message for my husband that said there was nothing they could do. So my question is this do is this do I get my money back for a warranty which you will NEVER be honored??? Should I cancel my current order for a refrigerator???? My next stop is to the credit card company to file a complaint with them against Conns for selling defective/fraudulent merchandise and warranties. Conns I may or not be stuck with with expensive/ defective merchandise, but you lost a lot more than I have as I have just move here and was in need of washer, dryer, refrigerator and about 4 more TV's and you just lost out on all that business!! I purchased a bedroom suite nearly 3months ago. When my furniture arrived it was damaged. I was told by the delivery driver to pour hot water on the spot because it is glue and someone would be calling me regarding the other area.. I ever got that call. Okay thats a negative, I won't be pouring anything on my furniture. Since I had financing, I called my servicer- since I was unable to reach the store manager. Lo and behold, they were able to reach him. The manger stated he did not know about the damaged items and would call me back. It took several days, but he did call. He asked if I would like it to be repaired or discounted. Since I work at a hospital and my schedule is unusual, I chose the discount. The manager stated some one will call. WELL......I NEVER GOT THE CALL. Since The better price is the 90 DAY SAME AS CASH, I am paying off the loan, and THEY NEVER GAVE ME A CREDIT ON THE DAMAGED ITEM. This store is beyond professional and helpful ! I didn't think I could get approved for the set I wanted and I just want to give a huge thank you to Cortez and his team for not only helping me get approved but being so helpful in the process. Well... I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first... After a horrid (2) deliveries of a refrigerator purchased at Lowe's, where their employee delivery team caused over $7k in damage to my wood floors and walls and still couldn't deliver a refrigerator without damaging the appliance itself, I walked into Conn's. I was greeted by the manager as soon as I walked in the door. As I knew what I wanted, straight to the computer we went. Being he was the leader, he passed me (and my phone with the item #) to Emma. She rung me up, I walked out the door! (Side note: $400+ for an extended warranty? Whoa!) The best part of the experience, TopHat logistics, the third party delivery company and their contractor. I got a text before I walked out of the store confirming my NEXT day delivery. Got a call that night confirming the 3 hour time frame and a call 30 min prior to them showing up at my door. Maliaja, Sedrick and Tez arrived and I'm quick order we were working out the best way to get the old (Lowe's refer) into the garage and the new one in. Thank gawd for experienced delivery teams, the old and the new were carried on straps, no dolly used in my house! They were polite, cautious, fast (somewhate) The ease of purchase, the timeliness of the team and the overall professionalism at the store and the delivery will earn more business from me... Side note: Does no one deluxe the inside of refers anymore? Almost 30 min spent removing tape and film from the inside and out is a bit redonkulus for such a large purchase... read more

I was on the internet a few nights ago looking for a new washer and dryer and I came across Conn's in Madison so I went thru the pre-qualified process. It was pretty late so I figured I would pick up where I left off tomorrow. I got a call late morning and it was Jamie the store manager asking if I had time to come in the store and we could chat about what I qualified for. Low and behold I went there and was greeted by Jamie and the salesman Dexter I believe. I picked out what I was interested in and was able to get it and delivered on this following Sunday. I cannot say enough about these exceptional employees. Both of them explained everything to me so precise and I never felt rushed. If your looking for any furniture, appliances etc... do not hesitate to look into Conn's. Me and my family cannot say enough about this store or employees there. The furniture included a bedroom suite (frame, night stand, and two cabinets) a floor model mattress, and a big screen TV, with delivery/set up. I received a functional TV that was delivered and installed. The rest of the items were either defective, missing pieces, or left in the room still in the packaging. One of the cabinets had a drawer mounted off level, so the barn style sliding door could not pass in front of it making half of the storage area unusable without modification. I noticed this defect immediately and called the store. The delivery boys had left to go back to the warehouse to retrieve the pieces they forgot to set up the bed. I was left with a bed that I had to build some parts for myself and a cabinet that was only partially useable. With many calls to the store managers, corporate, and every one else I could think of, the only "solution" that was offered was a refund of the delivery fee. After a few months of not paying for the products, because delivery had never been completed, nor had the cabinet been replaced, the credit calls started coming in and again I disputed the debt. They offered to auction all of the items (including the defective and incomplete items) and apply the proceeds to my balance.... so then I would be left with a huge bill and no furniture???? Now they are garnishing my wages, though somehow I don't believe I ever received notice of a court date, and there is no record of a judgement on my credit report.... Don't bother. We bought a message chair for my husband suffering with cancer pains. We were told that if it did not work for him we could return it. Long story short, my husband wont will never use the chair and all the girl could tell me it is a piece of furniture, no refunds...or compassion, or any type of condolences. Believe me, don't waste your time looking here for furniture unless you want to pay high prices for cheap furniture. There are too many inexpensive places to go to get higher quality furniture. I ended up purchasing a sofa from Ashley Furniture in Madison instead. It was 1/4 the price of anything in Conns, higher quality, and I got 12 months no interest financing! read more

They refused to accept a return for a laptop although there was a receipt and everything intact. It was supposed to be a same day return. The managers were not helpful. They also were not knowledgeable on the computers they sell. read more

if i could give a negative star i would. washer quit working after 2 days. 9 days later i'm waiting on a service call that i told them i did not want, i wanted a replacement machine since it only worked for two days. i got an exchange number from a supervisor at their service department and everytime i call back they have no record of it. i will never use these lying cheating a**holes again. stay away from conns! they are horrible!!!!!!!! read more

Love the in store staff and delivery team but the Warehouse sent me a dented dryer and refused to bring me a new one the same day, refuse to credit my account for the dent if I kept the old one, refuse to give me an estimated time of delivery for the new dryer. Their warehouse staff is the reason I will not do business with them again. read more

I bought a bed not even a year ago and the wood legs on both sides are broke. When I called to get my bed fixed, they first told me that I had no warranty with them. I had a manufacturer warranty and that I needed to call them. Keep in mind that I'm still paying on this bedroom suite. Then I come in and buy a very nice TV. I tell Keith what's going on with my bed and he looks into it and gets someone out to my house. When fast action comes and takes pictures of my bed. The guy says that this bed always ends up breaking likes this. He also told me that I would he back from someone in 5 days. 3 weeks go by and no one has called me. Then I get a text message saying that they are not going to fix my bed. That I'm stuck with a bed with broken legs. What kind of place is this? DO NOT PURCHES anything from them. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a oven six weeks ago and within ten days it completely stopped working. Since it had recently been purchased I called the store and was referred to the company underwriting the service agreement. All I get are repeated calls saying someone will call me in 48 to 72 hours. It's now been almost six weeks and I still do not have a working stove/oven with a family of four. I wish I could give it zero stars. I purchased a king bed (headboard and footboard) and dresser with mirror. It was gorgeous and I love the design. However, when it was delivered I noticed that there is a huge gap between the end of the mattress and the footboard. Large enough for my 5 yr old to fall into it. She can stand up and walk from one end of the bed to the other through the gap!! I immediately called the store the next morning, and they scheduled someone to come to my house to check it. They said there's nothing they can do, and there are NO RETURNS ON FURNITURE. So despite the fact it doesn't fit, despite the fact it's a Hazard to small children who may fall through it, I'm stuck with a bed that clearly does not fit the mattress at all. They suggested I stuff a body pillow in it to fill up the gap!!!! How tacky is that?!?! I had a terrible experience. Went in to purchase a sectional and the representative asked for my social 3 times. I told him I was interested in a no interest finance offer for a certain amount and he came back with the opposite information. After explaining to him what I wanted, it took him 30 minutes to do my application and figure out a delivery date. I waited two weeks up until the expected time of delivery and he told me they did not have the ottoman that came with the sectional in stock. I took off of work just so I could be at home to receive it. I asked him if the delivery fee could be waived since I had been inconvenienced from the start. He said no. I went into the store to voice my concern and they were very rude. They did not apologize for mis information or for the inconvenience. I went to Rooms to Go and got the same couch for a $1000 cheaper. This place is not good to do business with. They were very unprofessional and inconsiderate. read more

My better half and I found a beautiful sectional that I HAD to have. Two years worth of payments, 2500.00 for the sectional. The sales people seemed quite pushy but we just figured it was because they were wanting that commission really bad. But, when it came time for our payment due on the 3rd of the month with a ten day grace period they started calling 3 to 6 times a day wanting to take it out of our checking account right then. When we told them what date the payment would be made and how it would be made {still within our grace period} they would scream and become really hateful. Threatening us because we weren't making the payment right that minute. Even having a promise pay date they still call us every single day 3 to 6 times! I will never purchase furniture here again! I actually filed a claim with the BBB because they are harassing us and treating us horribly. I can't imagine 19 more months with this HORRIBLE company! :-( read more

If you go, ask for Wei Song. She went out of her way to ensure that we were shown everything that was applicable to what we were looking for.
