He did a really good job of diagnosing and assessing a number of things happening with me in just a short period of time. He also gave me a few really great adjustments and recommend recommendations for home that I didn't even realize I needed. In fact, I didn't even realize how weak certain parts of my body were until my visit with him. And now, I can't wait to come back. The whole process from start to finish with super simple: I booked online through Zocdoc, which was seamless. Diana, who works in the office, reached out to confirm almost immediately after and sent me the forms I needed to complete. I arrived for my appointment, and was seen pretty immediately. I had tweaked my lower back, lifting recently, and the pain I have now felt for almost a week is gone. On top of that, he was super nice! Diana at the front desk was also super nice! Looking forward to my next visit. Also helpful to note: there are appointments available as early as 6 AM. There's tons of free parking around the building on the streets. There is an elevator to get up to the suite on the seventh floor. Honestly, I should've started coming here months ago.

After just one visit with Dr. Posner I'm already feeling MUCH better than I've felt for the past 5 weeks. I had been using a cane, but now find I no longer need it. Actually, it now kind of feels odd to be able to walk without limping or wincing in anticipation of pain along my calf, hamstring and thigh. Great feeling. I will most definitely continue my treatments.

When I first went to Dr. Wray, I had reservations about chiropractic therapy in general, because it…read morewas the unknown. Dr. Wray has taken the time to explain the science behind everything that she does, always explaining what she is observing and offering options. She is thorough, kind and has focus on finding what works best for the individual patient. I particularly appreciate that she treats the whole person, looking at general health, nutrition, sleep, emotions, and lifestyle. I've been working with her on some very serious pain issues and am tremendously grateful for the progress we have made. I strongly recommend to anyone seeking help for any type of pain. This is one office and team that is warm, welcoming, skilled and professional.

I'm writing this review because I…read moredidn't feel like I got much benefit from my appointments with Dr. Wray, and I was unnerved when some of the techniques/movements she wanted me to do were in direct contradiction with the instructions from my doctors. Dr. Wray approaches each session in the same way--she just checks your whole body for everything, and focuses on specific areas if something comes up. I had to remind her at least three or four times during each appointment that I couldn't do certain movements/activities because of the type of injury I was recovering from. "Oh, right! Right, you said..." she'd say, and move on to something else. I don't want to get into too many details in a Yelp review, but it's unnerving when it feels like your doctor might inadvertently injure you because she isn't familiar with your condition. Separate from that, I didn't notice any positive difference after sessions. I thought her office was clean and non-sketchy. Rebecca, the woman at the front desk, is very helpful. I did get several sales pitches for products from Dr. Wray, but that's not very unusual for any medical practice. Overall, I think if you need a minor adjustment, or have chronic alignment issues, I'm sure Dr. Wray is great. She just wasn't the right person for my particular ailment.

Paul is more than a chiropractor--he's a healer, a magician. He takes the time to listen to you, your body, and your needs. He thoughtfully adjusts what's necessary and works through the muscle tension surrounding problem areas, providing real relief. After just one treatment, I'm extremely pleased with the results. I don't require regular maintenance, but I do experience occasional flare-ups. Having visited more "convenient" chiropractors in the past, I can confidently say that whether you need ongoing care or help in a pinch, you're in excellent hands. He understands what he's doing, and I feel significantly better. Thank you, Paul!

Sorry in advance... this will be a long one. I really can't say enough great things about Dr. Paul…read more He is the best and his entire goal is to make sure you only need to see him once or twice a year, if that. I have been going to a chiropractor to relieve chronic neck and back pain for years - since I was in my 20s and it always consisted of 3 appointments a week for 5/10 min with those electromagnetic pads... you know the routine. With Dr. Paul, he spends 30 min or an hour on you depending on how much time he needs, and he works on you from head to toe. I used to have chronic neck and shoulder pain but I have not experienced that type of pain since seeing him. If I do have pain, I may see him once a year. he also pads his appts with 15 minutes of time in between just for free touch ups! I have sent every client, friend and family member to him. He is a miracle worker and I would gladly pay out of pocket for that kind of care, even with insurance. It's worth EVERY CENT- although you can absolutely submit to your insurance for reimbursement! My husband was on of the biggest skeptics when I first told him about Dr Paul. It took at least one or two years before he actually went bc I paid for the appt in advance. But after just one visit, he became Dr. Paul's biggest fan. I also brought a good friend who was dealing with chronic hip pain for at least a year or two after a fall. She was scared to go but after nagging her for a couple years, she finally went and Dr. Paul fixed her in one visit. Granted she is still scared to go to any chiropractor but I am sure if she felt bad, he would be the first person she thinks of. I feel we are so lucky to be in Alexandria and have access to him, but I know people travel in from all over to see him bc he really is the best. I can go on and on but I think you get the hint. I couldn't believe he even had any (less than) 5 star reviews, but after reading them, it made me so sad for those 1 or 2 people. The reviews are clearly not even close to being accurate.

The week of Christmas 2012 I awoke unable to turn my head to the right. I visited her because her office was in walking distance of my home. I should have done so much research first. In short, I felt like I was molested for a solid hour. She had me take my clothes off entirely and put on a revealing robe (which I should have freaking questioned, since this is not normal practice, and never required at any of my previous doctors), and let's just say the adjustment was way too intimate, and she worked in areas that really didn't need adjusting. It was a really uncomfortable experience for me, I felt very exposed, and worse, I felt like she was really enjoying herself. And maybe this is her technique and it's just unfamiliar to me, but I walked home feeling pretty gross about the whole thing, and vowing to write a scathing review. Over a year later I'm still grossed out and honestly amazed that there aren't more freaked out customers writing their reviews.
