This was NOT the case with Patrick. His communication was clear and responsive. Gave a quote up front. Showed up on time. Got the job done promptly and was a pleasure to work with. However, he did not send them on the promised date and instead asked me to wait a few more days. I waited, but he still didn't send the documents. When I called him, he apologized, saying he might have sent them to the wrong person by mistake. Even after that, he didn't send the documents, so I called again. This time, he avoided my calls and, when he finally picked up, abruptly yelled at me and hung up. He eventually sent the documents, but they didn't include any business information or the details I needed. I attempted to contact him again, but he hasn't responded. Furthermore, these documents were something he originally promised to provide before the EV charger installation. I don't understand why he became upset. All I need are the receipts and the EV charger installation certification number. He was the best technician until he got paid, but after receiving payment, he stopped taking responsibility for his commitments. Additionally, ComEd cannot find his EV charger installation certification. He refuses to accept checks. He wants to receive pay in cash or zelle only.

We hired this company for painting and trim work, but unfortunately the experience was very…read moredisappointing. The project was rescheduled multiple times due to issues they claimed to have with another job, and communication throughout the entire process was poor and inconsistent. We were often left waiting for updates or clarity on what was happening, and there was a lot of confusion around materials and scheduling. When the work was finally done, it was unfinished and uneven in several areas -- particularly around the trim where surfaces were not smoothed or blended properly. We really tried to be patient and understanding, but the lack of professionalism and accountability made this process frustrating. Would not recommend based on our experience.

This is not the contractor you want. Please read before hiring. Everything here is documented with…read morereceipts, emails, text messages, photos and security camera footage to provide truth to this review. Unprofessional doesn't begin to explain this. We hired Kelly-Rose / KO Electric to help finish 2 rooms, and some exterior work. She was issued a check for the down payment to start work, as requested, which she of course cashed. They showed up 45 minutes late day one to start work, and late every day after. The work started Monday, and was supposed to be finished by Friday. It's now Friday and they are still a minimum of 2 days from completion on the interior work, let alone never starting the exterior work. They worked about 3 hours each day on Wednesday and Thursday. It has been raining, so I understand the exterior, but the interior is not acceptable. Wednesday and Thursday they worked approximately 3 hours a day, which I have proof of on my camera system. She will text you at inappropriate hours of the night, and apparently get you involved with her not paying her employees/contractors, warning you to call the police if her employees show up drunk at your home after midnight, as seen in screenshots (how fun!) The material list (from Kelly-Rose) was constantly wrong requiring me to go to HD/Menards every day of the project for more forgotten materials, and now to return unneeded or excess materials. The job was not estimated accurately, plain and simple. We opted to buy materials as we had around 1/3 of it purchased previously, but would have never expected to have to do so many trips. I was constantly lending my own tools to give a hand to the contractors we hired to do the work, which is just not normal, or professional. You would expect contractors to have everything they need to do the job. She suggests that all of the poorly cut pine trim which meets tongue & groove wood paneling just needs a little plaster to fill the 1/2" to 3/4" overhanging edges (pictured). Clearly plaster is not wood, and large ramped up corners of plaster is not acceptable, nor would it ever match the look of wood paneling, let alone look acceptable. Last but not least, she leaves a large contractor bag of all of the construction garbage in our driveway when she picked up her tools (pictured). Do yourself a favor and check references before hiring someone like this. This was a circus.

We needed two new boxes and ceiling fans installed in top floor bedrooms. I was an electrician early in my life so I know very well how difficult it is to run conduit in a shallow attic space. However, it is just one person and the TV weighs 75 pounds so I offered to help. 3 hdmi cables ripped most likely when Tv was taken off wall so holes could be re-drilled. I should have removed the cables before he came by to fix but didn't and I'm not sure if I helped him take the Tv down the second time or not but I may have. He hesitently strung new hdmi cables (mine) back through the wall but when I tested the ports later one was damaged. Regardless, from the moment we started the process earlier that day I said my main priority was getting my Tv mounted safely. He then blamed me for wanting to help (I didn't but he came alone and I was worried about the TV) and said he "didn't want to step on my toes" and ask me to remove the cables. That's either a lie or a very risky way to do business. My tv could've been rendered unusable. Yes it was our mistake but one that shouldn't have been made. Fortunatly for now it seems like it's only 25% less useable but he blamed me and offered no compensation. I also noticed my stand alone freezer he unplugged was not plugged back in so about $100 in food was wasted as well. So I would not recommend him and would go with a different company that is less likely to make mistakes and more likely to own up to them if they do make them.
