I asked a nurse and she pulled a client to give me a tour. While the tour was great and the client was helpful, I just felt like it should be more structured when you first get in. I asked for a private room on my admissions call and they said they provide both, single and double bed rooms. Upon arrival, there was no choice. Everyone gets a roommate unless you are transgender or self paying. Patient privacy: 2/5 Nurses and Techs often disclosed patient information to eachother within hearing distance of other clients. While it wasn't directly sharing it with clients, it allowed a lot of private information to be shared from patient to patient. Dietician: 1/5 I came into the facility with a diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa. There was no dietician and I had to wait 3-4 days before I was approved to get protein shakes. Often times, they had none. They frequently would be out of snacks or any other food. So if you're a picky eater, you had no choice but to go hungry or eat the questionable looking food. Food: 3/5 Breakfast is about the same everyday. Powdered eggs, sausage links, burnt biscuits and gravy. Bacon was provided once a week. They had fresh fruit 2-3 times during my 2 month stay. English muffins and yogurt with granola were coming around by the time I left. If you have a gluten allergy, the food is often the exact same. On Easter sunday, there was no gluten-free meal for dinner. My roomate ate a bowl of cereal that she had saved for the days they forgot to bring her a tray. For vegetarians, they served a plate of raw vegetables for the first month. They finally started incorporating faux meat, but when i arrived, it was bell peppers, carrots, lettuce, etc. The salad dressing and condiments are almost always out. They serve chicken everyday for one meal. It was undercooked when i arrived and then became extremely overcooked as time went on. I prefer the later, but either way it wasn't very appetizing. PHP has a salad bar which was very good. The desserts were tasty during the week. Arcade/Gym: 1/5 There's no ping pong paddles or balls. The air hockey table is broken. There's one set of pool balls for 2 tables and only 3 sticks. The foosball table has no balls. The virtual golf is broken and was my entire stay. The basketball court is inaccessible to the adults. The gym has broken machines. The treadmills are a hit or miss if they work or not. Usually 1 works and the rest are frozen or won't start. Groups: 4/5 During Residential, the groups were great during the week. However, they do run every single day. It became monotonous and tiring. On Sunday, it was a "fun day" where we watched movies and could do activities. But we weren't allowed in our rooms. I really enjoyed the group facilitators though. Therapist: 4/5 My experiences were great. Others were not as great. I got lucky to be paired up with a therapist who cares and goes the extra mile to help the patients. Shout out to Amy. Billing: 1/5 I was advised I would only have to pay $8,000 by the admissions. However upon returning home, I was billed $14,999. They are back tracking and saying admissions is a separate department than billing. But saying you'll pay one thing and billing you for almost TWICE as much is false advertisement. It's a way to get people in the door. Be very careful and read the documents they have you sign. It's unfortunate that people come in withdrawing or in a mental crisis and sign away their rights. It's taking advantage of already vulnerable people. They billed me for a doctor who I never saw and call me 2-3x a week to ask for the checks. But when i ask about my bill being way higher than expected, they suddenly get quiet and can't reach out for a week. Pretty convenient. After Care: 1/5 I had no appointments set up with a therapist, psychiatrist, or spravato/tms doctor upon leaving. I had to call and request an appointment. To which I was told that I am being put on a waitlist that was several weeks. The spravato and TMS referral still has not been sent to my new doctor. It has almost been 2 weeks since I left. This was all suppose to be set up before I left. Case managers: 1/5 They are overbooked with clients which leads to them not seeing their patients as often as they should. They don't care about FMLA, Short term disability, or helping you pay bills. They have to approve people to get on their phones to pay their bills, but then don't allow them to get on them during their session. They tell them to ask a tech and the techs often refuse. Techs: 3/5 There's great techs and there's not so great techs. . While others sit on their phones, make personal calls, and get shitty when people ask them to do their job.

I have heard many good references about this place after I had walked in for a mental health checkup. What I found is that the people that work here care about helping their clients in every way. They set up a spa type setting in the entrance with inviting rooms for your sessions. There's waterfall sound throughout and an excellent policy on privacy. With that said I recommend this facility.

Our counselor, Misel Vasoli, was great. She was friendly, personable, honest and the best counselor…read morewe'd had. The business owner and her billing department are in over their heads. Unprofessional (made derogatory assumptions about myself and family without ever speaking to us in person), dishonest (the billing practices we were informed of - a payment taken the Friday after the session - were not held too, instead only billing us after 6 sessions to the tune of almost $700 - and we had checked the portal weekly to make sure nothing was missed), and not concerned with their clients, only money (when we called to schedule our 7th session is when we were informed we'd not be able to be seen, despite being in crisis, and we're refused any further appointments due to their billing error.) This week, their billing department made 5 separate small transactions on my account without contacting me prior to let me know, and not only cost me the $84, but also $100 in overdraft fees. When I brought this to the owners attention, she made a rude comment pretending to know my family's income and situation, telling me to check my benefits (which were NOT the issue, her billing dept and specifically a lady named Tammy - were the reason we were never billed properly as the counselor had told us we would be), and that sometimes "you need to learn a hard lesson, and they can be financial". This was from the owner. Just a horrid person that should be nowhere near mental health care in my opinion. When booking a therapist, remember, all the accolades and degrees in the world are worthless if your therapist is more concerned with the bottom line than your care, which, in my opinion the owner here is. Just avoid the hassle and book elsewhere. This review is all my opinion based fully on experiences I and my family have had with this group. If you do book here, ask for Misel, otherwise save the hassle and go somewhere they care - which is hard to find in this area to begin with.

Dr. Leonard was writiing a book at the time she was also counseling my daughter...she was very preoccupied with the book, bit we apparently were allowed to pass through Dr. Leonards perfect little world, and pay bills for awhile. The problems my daughter originally presented with were not taken seriously, nor werr they addressed satifactorily. In fact my daughters problems worsened under Dr. Leonards care, and we eventually terminated ties with the practice. I attended a few sessions with my daughter, and Dr. Leonard mismanaged the joint appointments, and was disrespectful to me as well as doing her best to position my daughter against me. I do not believe the joint sessions were neccesary nor were they helpful to me or my daughter I asked my daughter to compare Dr. Leonard retrospectively to her current psychologist, and she stated that Dr. Leonard " did not do a very good job" and that she felt as though her sessions with Dr. Leonard were actually detrimental. I would not return to Dr. Leonard for help for myself or my family.

During my stay I felt that my personal needs were of the upmost importance to not only the staff that I interacted with most on a daily basis, but even the ones that did not assist me first hand in my groups or therapy processes. All of the staff I felt was on the same page here in having one goal in mind and that is creating an atmosphere to which you can be successful and work towards your lifelong goals. The two individuals that were mentioned in a previous review I feel were on top of things. They both made sure things were handled in a timely manor and made sure that the center ran smoothly and effectively. They put you as a priority and make sure that you are getting the care you deserve in a well run, safe and clean environment. There were two different occasions were I needed assistance and they were busy at the time and told me that they would address my concerns in a timely manor and I really do not think that i even waited more than a half an hour and they came to me to go over my concern I did not have to chase them down or even remind them. The staff helps you to understand that the recovery process take time and drive by you the client. They want you to be successful, they want to help you any way that they can and that is their number one goal. I was assigned my primary therapist and counselor and I was able to determine what my likes and dislikes were in regards to finding the appropriate groups and courses to partake in while being here. In regards to the food I thought it was delicious, and was more so impressed by the fact that we were not just given sandwiches or pizza or something, we got good home cooked meals and they made special meals for those with food allergies and or diet restrictions. At the end of the day I think people who may not be ready to commit to changing their lives will sometimes be a little more drastic and make up things to get out of their recovery plan. I was ready, I was open minded and at the end of the day I wanted to get clean and was very much thankful for the help that I was able to received and was offered. This place saved my life.

The Doctor does what she wants despite advice from your Nephrologist. There is a CNA who would be fired if she was my employee. 1 night nurse would be the only nurse I would keep. If you have a choice RUN as fast as you can from this facility especially if you have a medical condition. I left after 1 week, before they killed me. I heard many a complaint from residents but they were all afraid to voice them as they were branded a troublemaker or worse yet betrayed in class as a whiner. I gave the cook and doctor my medical records, as far as I know they threw them in the trash. Waiting for the place to go up in flames as every room had a space heater.
