My experience from start to finish was not great. We always set an appointment time but for some reason we were never seen on time. At one point we even arrived on time for an appointment and was not seen in a decent time frame, we weren't done until 8pm. He showed no concern for me as a paying customer. I'm coming from New Haven to Hartford so that is also consuming driving distance and gas. On this particular occasion that has turned me away completely is his lack of customer skills, concern for others time, and non professionalism. He did a terrible job on my son's hair, he did a rushed job and continued to say "I'm backed up" that wasn't my problem. I don't do the scheduling. If he knew he wouldn't be able to do a good job he should have stated that and asked if I could come another day. He even wasn't able to do the style that my son requested. He just kept making excuses as to why he can't do it, blaming my son's hair as to why that would be a problem. He's the one who has been doing my son's hair so it should not have been an issue or problem. So that shows he hasn't been doing a great job with his hair. I called him the next day to say my son's hair looks horrible. He then said text me pictures. I did that and waited a long while for a response. When he did reply he again started to blame the fact that my son plays football was the blame and that's why it looks that way. My son has been playing football the entire time Cedric has been doing his hair and this was never a problem, so why now. He said bring he back and he'll redo it. We went back the next day arriving at the time I text him we would arrive which was 12:30. He had three customers there so we waited. Then two more customers arrived after us and he took them first. We sat and waited unannounced and he showed no concern with us waiting. I then choose to leave at 4:30 after waiting for 4 hours just so my son could a retwist of his locs and an edge up that he never did the first time. When leaving he looked at me and said "football" shrugging his shoulders and proceeded to shut the door in our face. I will never refer this man to anyone. He calls himself a man of God and treated me and my son as if we were invisible with no care and a non paying customers. I was very disgusted and felt very disrespected with this experience at his shop. Never again, this is a lesson learned. After all this time I honestly have nothing positive to say about this place.
