I finally got an appt for today. The owner, Kenneth, was helping me today. When I arrived he called me back. He isn't much for small talk, but I'm ok with that. He checked out my device and hands it back and says, "it's dead". Then tells me that he can send it out for repair, for $400, but they might not repair it because they may be older than 5 years old. But doesnt look up the serial number. Doesnt look at my file at all. Certainly doesnt make a call to ask. After more awkward silence, I inquire about the 2 discount plans. He says that he doesnt know and just stares at me. I start to get upset. Because this man is not helping me and just awkwardly staring. I pick my stuff up, saying, "this is awkward", and he tells me he is trying to help me, and doesn't understand my attitude. Then says, "you just want me to do the work for you." If I am planning on spending money in a store, thousands of dollars, I expect you to do more than awkwardly stare. Never again. Too bad Jaime isn't there anymore.

He hadn't been wearing them for quite awhile and the last time he did, one was making a high pitched noise. Debbie warmly welcomed us. She took the hearing aids, checked them out, cleaned them, and put in new batteries. With a gleam in her eye, she told my husband she wasn't going to charge him today and he had to promise to come back in 3-4 months to have them checked again. She was delightful. And as for the previous comment. There is a Jamie there now.

Avoid at all costs!…read more I purchased a groupon in March for fillers and have called to book my appt no less than 10 times. I since requested a refund from groupon, and they advised I need to contact the company directly. I've called and texted 20+ times and tia finally got back to me about a month and a half ago, asking for my name so they can contact the groupon rep. I responded right away and she has never responded to me. I've since messaged 5 times and they are not responding. This can't be a legitimate place. And if you see their advertisement in miami they don't actually have a location there, so something is up.

Beautiful waiting room with shiplap wrapped walls, beautiful ceiling lights, and a friendly and helpful receptionist greeted me when I walked in. I got my Botox done by Ashley. She is a NP (nurse practitioner which is very common) and man is she amazing. Very knowledgeable, sweet, friendly, and likes to know the needs to her patients. She took before pictures so we can see what area we can see the difference in afterwards and went right into it. When I tell you I hate needles, I hate needles. And I'm in healthcare myself! Ashley seriously has the softest touch! I didn't feel one of the pokes and was done before I knew it! I was so happy with her I got more Botox than I went in thinking I was going to get. I ended up getting 40 units total and spending money out of pocket for the extra 20 units! We made an appointment for 2 weeks later to see how things look and for free touch ups! I can't wait to see the results! I'll be back here for sure for touch ups and for other services for sure! I can't wait!

I was referred to the center by a friend and I can't tell you what a relief it's been been. The staff are all really courteous and amazingly qualified. Booking appointments is easy. My therapist is super easy to talk to, and so knowledgeable. Therapy is so important to my mental health and this place is honestly a game changer. Couldn't recommend it enough.

He took one look at my MRI and told me they had treated the wrong area. He is experienced, knowledgeable and extremely competent - actually cared about helping me find a solution to reduce my back pain. He referred me to a surgeon to stabilize one area and scheduled an epidural after surgical recovery for another area of my spine. During this 7 month period he also helped me lose 50 pounds! Something I had been unsuccessful at doing for 20 years and dozens of diets including 3 day fasts. Again he immediately diagnosed a metabolism problem and prescribed medication (a pill) that works wonders. I've tried everything to relieve my back pain and lose weight for 20 years. This man gave me my life back! He is my hero. As far as communication with the office staff (who I always found to be professional and caring) is by text. I have become quite fond of them.

I wanted to share my very negative experience for the last 5 years (its scary) with Defy so others…read morecan be aware and advocate for themselves in case they recognize a similar pattern. I'm so disappointed I trusted my health and well-being to this Defy and I regret using them. This is why you should go elsewhere... I originally sought help for fatigue and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I was started on desiccated thyroid medication, and initially things improved and showed in the first year's blood work. However, over time (5 total years), my medication was increased without a full evaluation of how my labs and symptoms were trending together. This clinic specializes in hormones, how can you not properly read year 2 of a blood panel then continue to mis-diagnose and improperly medicate a patient for 3+ years. My emotional, mental and physical health is destroyed right now. Looking back at my lab results: - My TSH became suppressed (very low) - My Free T3 was at the high end or above range - I began developing symptoms consistent with overstimulation, including poor sleep, heat intolerance, nervous system sensitivity, and eventually loss of my menstrual cycle Despite these clear patterns, there was no adjustment made to account for possible over-replacement or the downstream hormonal effects this was having on my body after my results from year 2 of treatment. I was having horrific mood swings, sleeping extremely poorly, and suicidal thoughts. I now understand that my system was likely being pushed into an overactive state, which impacted my sleep (waking up all night long), nervous system, and reproductive hormones (including very low progesterone and loss of cycle). What has been most frustrating is not just the symptoms, but the lack of holistic evaluation. My labs were viewed in isolation for 5 years total, rather than as a pattern over time, and my symptoms were not fully integrated into my care plan. I'm sharing this so others know: ---- Make sure your provider is looking at trends over time, not just single results---- I wish I had known earlier how important it is to balance thyroid treatment carefully, especially when using T3-containing medications. I've done my research and talked to another medical professional about my labs/blood work and Defy medicated me to Hyperthyroid for 3 total years and not only did they not catch it, they continued to over. Treat me for hypothyroid. My progesterone is .1 but started at 1.4 and with my symptoms being text book hyperthyroidism, how was that missed. I am now working to rebalance my system, and I hope sharing this helps someone else catch these patterns sooner and uses another company. Always double check these 'clinics'. I'm so disappointed I trusted my health and well-being to this Defy and I regret using them.
