Ive been going to conncert music for over 10 years now, ive seen it have great inventory, great employees and great customer service, unfortunatly it has changed, only the owners, and the tech work there now, most of the time one person is there, they arent very knowledgeable either, only knowing about pianos or clocks, focusing more on PA rentals than any type of music, I understand not everyone likes everyones music, now you have to ask to try something out, and if its a guitar you have to set it up yourself. Trying to trade something or purchase used items is a nightmare, I recently took a $1200 guitar in there to try to trade, they told me $150 is the most, I would have been ok with $400, I understand buying and selling parts of a business, I do the same thing, I asked about a used guitar, it was badly tarnished, cracked body and neck binding, bad selector switch and bad tuners, I know my guitars, being a luthier and guitarist myself, knowing it was worth $600 new, 8 years ago, I would not pay more than $120, I was told no I traded it for $400 I cant go less than that, ive bought $3600 Marshall amps there for $500 each, its losing money for the company, not knowing their inventory. As saying all that and there is more I can go on about, I used to travel for a few hours to go to my favorite music store, unfortunatly Id rather buy online. read more
