Das Congressforum Frankenthal (CFF) ist eines der attraktivsten Kongress- und Veranstaltungszentren in der Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar. 22 moderne Räume und ein sorgfältig ausgewähltes Kultur- und Veranstaltungsprogramm bieten den idealen Rahmen für unvergessliche Events! Auf 3.500 m2 bieten die Räume Platz für bis zu 1.000 Personen: alle mit Tageslicht, aber auch verdunkelbar, mit leistungstarker Raumlufttechnik und größtenteils Kfz-befahrbar. Established in 1991.

Das Congressforum Frankenthal wurde 1991 nach den Plänen des Architekten Alexander Raimund Freiherr von Branca auf dem Gelände der ehemaligen Zuckerfabrik "F. und C. Karcher" erbaut - der ehemals größten deutschen Zuckerproduktionsstätte. 2005 wurde es durch ein modernes Konferenzzentrum erweitert. Alexander Freiherr von Branca (1919 - 2011) ist Träger des Großen Bundesverdienstkreuzes des Verdienstordens der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und wurde mehrfach für seine Werke ausgezeichnet. Zu seinen bekanntesten Entwürfen zählen die Neue Pinakothek in München und die Deutsche Botschaft beim Heiligen Stuhl in Rom. Kennzeichnend für seine herausragende Architektur sind die Verwendung großflächiger Wände und die Verblendung mit Natursteinen. Beides typische Merkmale, die auch das Congressforum Frankenthal auszeichnen.

I attended the Old but Gold Ü30 Hip Hop Party w/ Shawn here, and overall this is a really solid…read moreconcert venue. First off, the space is huge. There was enough room for three separate dance floors, plus a dedicated outdoor smoking area, and it never felt cramped. For this event, there were bars on both sides of the stage, which made grabbing a drink easy no matter where you were. Even better, the sightlines are great and you could see the stage clearly from pretty much anywhere in the room. It is standing room only, but the layout makes that work. My one real issue was communication, especially during the meet and greet. Venue security and ticketing staff were giving conflicting instructions, which made things confusing. My German is not the strongest, so it took some extra effort to figure out where I needed to be. To be fair, everyone was polite and it seemed they were just following the instructions they were told, but better coordination between the venue staff and event planners would have made the experience smoother. On another note, be prepared to walk cause parking is non existent, I parked a good half a mile from the venue. That said, none of that takes away from the fact that Wagenhallen is a great concert venue with tons of space, good flow, and excellent views. I would absolutely come back for another show. I know 112 has played here a couple of times and I missed it if/when they come back here I'm in there. *Does lil dance while singing U Already Know* lol

I by chance therefor got to know my most favourite band.....only knowing one song at that time.........but standing so far in the front is not possible in all venues!!! So her you can really get in touch with the band :-) See my pics of that concert of "The Divine Comedy" back in 2006 :-) Another good thing about this venue is, that there is a tramstop right in front with trams going in the direction of the trainstation, so you don't depend on a car to get there!!! It appears that there are decent artists who perform there (the only one I know is Nouvelle Vague), so I can see this being a fun place to hang out before or after the show.
