Meet the Manager: Rabbi Zacharoff A.

CBH, a Reconstructing Judaism community in Summit drawing members from Union, Morris, and Essex counties, has appointed Rabbi Zacharoff as its new religious and spiritual leader. Rabbi Zacharoff stepped into the role in time to lead the synagogue in its observation of the September High Holidays with a fitting theme of “New Beginnings.” Rabbi Zacharoff brings a passion for interfaith dialogue and community building. She learned the value of religious diversity at an early age, growing up on Long Island as the Jewish child of a happy interfaith marriage, and later found the professional field of interreligious dialogue during a particularly meaningful college internship. Building a warm Jewish community like the one where she grew up is a priority in her communal work.
