Conservative synagogue that is living up to what Jewish life should be with commitment to do good for the entire community regardless of religion. Many programs lead by the Rabbi and other members of the staff and community to better the well being of others. Collecting food for the food bank, growing a vegetable garden and donating the crops to the women's shelter, collecting good bags for foster kids and helping disadvantaged kids learn how to read better are just a few of the things that this wonderful community is doing for the grater DFW community. Many different Jewish programs and lots of collaboration with other faiths institutions for the benefit of doing more good in this world. read more

We were politely greeted, shown around, and to say the truth, encountered a much more positive response, than the general vibe at our previous schul. We are still considering, however, Beth Israel seems to have really nice people with a leadership staff that cares about others.
