They pack the 40 plus tables every night (that I've been there recently), but it doesn't feel like a Ukranian riot,ostly necause the crowd is middle-aged folks and their families, which is chill and comfortable. The service sometimes suffers from 'Trindade-itis', which strikes whenever a place in this town gets good enough to be popular, but not popular enough to discourage cheap rip-off imitators. When I fitst came here a frw years ago, it was really relaxed during the wek, but since, to drum up business, they've introduced a "Bingo/Jantinho" night that is a sigjt to nehold, featuring an all-you-can eat dinner PLUS several rounds of Bingo, from 1-2 reais per card, with prizes from 20 bucks to 100 plus 5 free beers. Okay, nothing here is spectacular, but you won't find much better in town at twice the price, and anything on the menu (or wall, as it were) is worth an order. Beer is cheap, the servers do an admirable job of serving it cold to the masses, and the TVs usually have a soccer match or UFC on. Get here shortly afyer 8pm for a good spot on busy nights, and you'll find it relaxing after most of the folks with kids head home before midnight. Meet ya there.

I am an American visiting my fiancee family in this city of 100000 people…read more I been here now for two weeks now and and have been to several lovely restaurants here. Tonight we get to this place for drinks for our last night,before heading out to our next destination. The pub/ restaurant is in the downtown and from the outside looks very nice. Needless to say that this place is a total Ripoff. When we were getting ready to leave a two-man band started to play. When we were paying for the bill to leave they wanted to charge us over $25 US dollars cover charge for two people to listen to third rate music. The prices of the beer and food is ridiculous for a city of this size. Apparently, this is where the local middle-class and upper-middle-class seem to go. When we were leaving they decided to charge for a cover charge but never mentioned it when we were entering the establishment. This was ridiculous as we only heard less than two songs. The management was quite rude to my fiance about the cover charge. One must be very careful especially if you speak English in a small town like this because they will definitely try to rip you off . The e same goes for market, shop, cafes. We found some other wonderful restaurants well here when was incredible sushi bar with a wonderful service and food. Now we ended up in a wonderful place called Big Burger that was one of the best hamburgers I've had anywhere. I will write more about that later. Needless to say that is the place we ended up was just a major disappointment and nobody wants to get into a fight over a ridiculous cover charge. My recommendation unless you want to pay a lot of money and get ripped off, don't come to this place. The management was rude and nasty to my fiance and her family. I hope anyone who reads this should boycott this Restaurant and Pub. The manager's name is Daco and was very rude and unprofessional. Very big disappointment.

Every time I am on a…read morevacation we always go to Kabanas and I always request for the Russian manager because he is amazing and speaks English/Russian/Ukranian/Portuguese! Anyways, I went on the 1st of July with my family. And he was not there, there was another manager there that night. Everything was going well until we asked for one last round of beer (saideira a Brazilian tradition of last round). Our server brought the check and told us he couldn't bring us one last round, he said he tried but the manager didn't want to allow, we asked to speak with the manager and he was very rude and unprofessional, I have never meet a manager in Brasil this rude before and so unprofessional! My father in law was very upset because the whole family are clients at this specific location inside of the Flamboyant Shopping ever since this restaurant was opened. Most of the employees know us and treat us like family. And we never had problem there before. The manager told in our face that he doesn't want people like us there, he told us we could bring our bottle of whiskey home so we don't have to come back, just because we told him he was very rude and unprofessional. Even the employees were shocked with the managers behavior, zero knowledge of how to handle a situation in a friendly manner terrible customer service and he should not be a manager at such a high quality top restaurant. Some of the employees who know my husband and his family came to him to apologize for the managers behavior and told us he has been the worst manager so far. This by far was the worst experience we ever had in Brasil. All of this just because we asked if we could have one last round of beer for my father in law and Husband who drink there all the time. And the manager stated no in a very rude way and did not apologize basically kicking us out! I am so upset and flabbergasted that last day of my vacation was ruined by his attitude!
