The staff here was also very polite and asked us questions about our travels. The final plus was the fact that they had a small selection of sugar free choices which I greatly appreciated. The only downside was the fact that the prices were a little high. That being said, I appreciated shopping here.

There were probably fifty different maple syrup treats for sale. If we weren't flying home, I would have filled our bags with syrup. The shop is clean, well organized and boasts a cute exterior. It also doesn't hurt that it's in the petit quarter along with so many other great shops and restaurants. Highly recommend a stop here!

They had a small counter for ordering coffee and then had loads of interesting treats like marshmallows, jellies, chocolates, and, of course, nougat. In fact, they had dozens of flavors of that nougat, including blueberry, Christmas-spiced, and much more. Our tour included a few sample bites, and everything was delicious. Besides the candy, they had other gifts like pretty mugs, stuffed animals, and so forth. For those interested, there was a room showing a film about the history of the candy store. La Nougaterie was a welcoming space featuring a friendly staff and a vast array of confections. It would make a good place to gift shop on the island.
