Absolutely fantastic Brazilian style cakes, pies, desserts and coffee. For those who may not trust…read morea mall food court it is important to understand that in Brazil the malls are truly a destination for a safe and fun environment so the food is often the destination itself and not just a collection of low quality chains like is often the case in the US. Brazilian cakes and desserts in the south of the country (like Florianópolis) are on a league of their own for freshness and excess. This is NOT traditional European, which are more restrained. The southern Brazilian sweets are very sweet and take pride in joining every delicious ingredient in a single dessert. For those untrained in the art of extreme sweets, I recommend sharing with a friend and getting a black (or barely sweetened) coffee and eat slowly. Either way, this place is great for the quality, freshness and friendly service for what it is meant to be served.

They have a preset menu or a la carte. The preset menu changes daily and is posted on the backboard on the wall. Today's included an appetizer of quinoa with fresh tomato and onion with a carrot sauce and plated with leaves of arugula. For the main course, a rice medley of beans, raisins, carrots and almonds on a cabbage leaf with a cup of lentil soup and a kibe with roasted vegetables on a skewer lightly salted. It was all quite tasty and very filling. We all had freshly blended fruit drinks and finished the meal with a selection from the barista (all the cafe selections are great). My only complaint is about the price, I find it too excessive, even though it's obviously supposed to be on the more exclusive side, going to eat there and spending 100R$ is a bit too much. I would recommend this place for a coffee or a small breakfast, but definitely not for lunch or dinner. Maybe for buying one or two exotic or just better quality products but never for buying essentials.
