Here you'll also find an array of decks, along with everything you'll need to customise the perfect ride. Keep in mind that it's not only skateboards but scooters, ice skates, roller blades, back packs and the safety equipment. All out on display and ready for you to check it out. This store finds the impeccable equilibrium of rebellion and order. Maintaining its roots in the subculture while understanding there must be method in the madness. While a half-basement, this store provides plenty of lighting and an eye catching window display. The staff are some of the coolest people I got to meet in Brisbane, happy to chat and joke around while providing expert knowledge and assistance. There is little doubt in my mind that you will find a better skate shop within the CBD.

Unprincipled, dishonest, never do what they promise ... I am sure that this business only stays in…read morebusiness because they don't have any competition. I took a pair of rollerblades in for a repair more than a year ago; the story so far. Lost the blades, changed staff, lost the repair order, won't return phone calls. My genuine Rollerblades, that only needed their locking straps repaired, have not been located, and are unlikely to be seen again. Run a mile. Avoid this business at all costs.

If you are ever stuck for a really cool present for a lively kid that likes a bit of action, you must go to Wiz Kidz Sportz. They specialise in skateboards, scooters, baseball equipment and all the accessories that fall into those categories. You can tell by the owner's lively interaction with his customers that this is more than a unique business venture, he rally has passion for these sports. Given the small space that the shop occupies, the range of skate goods may be shy in comparison to say a Skatebiz but it stocks the essentials to get your young one going. If it isn't in Wiz Kidz Sportz they can certainly order it in. Go visit, your kid will go nuts.
