Ron gave me a thorough explanation on what he believed should be done and even provided me with photos, a detailed explanation and a PowerPoint showing me the steps to fix the deck and stairs. They have been repairing two of my neighbors decks for the last few weeks. They left an open deck on a hillside without a barrier or warning tape. They removed the gate on my adjacent property without notifying me which allowed direct access to hillside deck with no railing for four days while they went to another job. I was out of town. Attached is a photo of what I found when I got home. This is how the DeckTech team left the job site. If a neighborhood child went through that gate and fell off my neighbor's deck it could have been disasterous. I asked them serveral times to reinspect my deck which is required for warranty. He delayed me for two weeks stating each time he would be out the following week. I received an email this morning stating I should go to his competetor. Maybe you should as well if he too busy until mid next year. The spelling errors are from his email. Ron McKenna (owner) email to me: "I would [not] be able to provide a deck inspection for you.
