I think the doctors here got their MDs as a cereal box prize. I had to come here for a workman's comp claim because this place was on the list of approved doctors, rather than choosing my own physician. I hyperextended my knee at work and believe it's popliteal tendinitis or a meniscus issue. After almost an hour wait I was finally seen. The doctor came in and did not even so much as LOOK at my knee, let alone touch it or feel around for a problem. He spoke to me for literally less than 5 minutes and told me to do physical therapy for 2 weeks. Naturally the PT didn't do anything. They simply listed a knee strain or sprain on the paperwork without a formal diagnosis. After the 2 weeks another doctor ordered an MRI while I continued a third week of useless PT. At the follow up appointment when my MRI results came in I was told that it came back negative-no issues found! Well of course not, because they work for the interest of your employers insurance company, not for the patient. I was dumbfounded because clearly something is wrong with it. The doctor just shrugged me off and said that he believed the case was closed, go back to work (I wasn't taking any time off work) and that I was welcome to come back and see the other doctor who was there during the day. Then in his "expert" medical opinion I was told that it was a mind over matter issue and that now that I know nothing is wrong with it, I may notice the pain will go away!!! Unbelievable. Well the pain has since gotten worse. I scheduled a follow up with the other doctor, however my case worker closed the case without informing me and when I called to confirm my appointment, I was told that my employer closed the case and they refused to see me. I have a copy of the MRI I'm just going to take it to my PCP! read more
