AWFUL!!!...Absolutely awful! I have been using this check printing company for a long time. I never had a problem before. They printed my checks incorrectly and when I called Customer Service they seemed to not care. I even told them that if they didn't resolve the matter to my satisfaction, that I would go to a competitor in the future. Again, the CSR didn't seem to care. As another user wrote, they wanted to charge them for the checks to be reprinted. This company doesn't want to make good on their errors. They additionally don't seem to care about losing long time customers. I am D-O-N-E DONE with this company! I am very unhappy with the customer service and the mere fact that they will not own up to their mistakes and immediately blame the customer. Recent order for high security business checks to be printed. (Gusto recommended this company). The ink they print with rubs right off the checks. When checks are being deposited/cashed the bank can't process them. My printer prints checks great, I can scratch the ink and it still remains. We paid well over $100 plus shipping & handling and ink comes right off. Called Compuchecks, they said they will resend a new printed batch...I will update review if they deliver on their part. Customer service was very rushed and hung up before I could even get a confirmation. Would recommend NOT using this company. I also plan on letting Gusto (payroll company) know they are recommending a terrible check printing company. read more

I been ordering more than 10 years and now looks like new management or new owner doesn't care of orders. website showing as orders went thru but never received and sent email but no reply. called and couldn't process??????? how come not contacting to customer. Can't really say anything nice about this company. I can say this: 1. Horribly overpriced for the quality. Go to Amazon or another printer and you'll get better deals and better quality. 2. Order take to long to process. The last order we placed, we place more than a month before we needed anything. We got a call two weeks after the order was placed stating they had run out of stock. We didn't have a proplem with changing check stock, but why didn't they print the order when it was placed and when they had the check stock on hand. Not at all professional! 3. Poor printing quality. The last check order we placed was also very poorly aligned. The left side of the check is partially cut off or it just didn't print properly. I'm not sure. Either way, we've had to realign Quick Books to make the check print where it should. 4. Poor quality, printing, and alignment. We've already stated this, but we're stating it again. We also ordered deposit slips with out last check order. We just started to use the new deposit slips last week. The paper stock is nearly see through, and the alignment is different with each sheet. I've had to align the QB print option twice now and have lost a few sheets becuase the deposit slips looked so bad the bank wouldn't have accepted them. We've placed several orders with this company over the years. There have always been little issues such as mispelled words (which is as much our fault as this company who should be proofreading and asking their customers if what they submitted was correct, especially with glaring mistakes) and a gradual change in product alignments, blank page stock in the middle of a printing, which threw our check numbers out of sequence in QB. As much as we have to pay for check and deposit slip stock we expect and have the right to a quality product. That is not something this company seems to be able to accomplish This last order insured that we won't be back to this company. Shame on the managment of this shaddy company!!! read more

I ordered some much needed checks on the 3rd of this month. This business gladly accepted my order while they were planning on closing the doors for three weeks. For three weeks I couldn't get an update about my order. Finally they opened their doors and decide to process my order. Tt's set to be delivered to me on the 28th of this month. What an abysmal company to do business with. Absolutely no customer service. My checks are lost somewhere in the desert after paying to expedite the order. Called to get shipping refunded and they argued about it. I explained what good customer service looked like (refund expedited shipping and/or call Fedex about the package) and they argued more. It has been a full week since I ordered these checks, and not only does the website say they've not shipped yet, but I cannot get anyone on the phone or web chat to discuss my order with. Their website says they ship within 4 days of the order unless they need to call & ask the customer a question, but it's been 7 days: No call from them asking me questions AND No tracking number to indicate that my checks have shipped. This company has a history of complaints. Their best is you didn't put the information in right, that is why the order is wrong. They are not only belligerent, but frankly rude. They sent my last order numerical instead of as requested, reverse order. When I called they told me to arrange correctly and they would give me a minimal discount. I told them I don't have time to rearrange 2000 checks. I would like the order resent. They told me it would take an additional 3 weeks. I told them to forget it. Went online and found a reputable company with friendly customer service. CHECK DEPOT. I then realized their overpriced checks and shipping charges were inflated. I ordered the "blank" 3 per page checks after reading their description that said these work with Quicken. When the package arrived there was no instructions or directions of any kind so I reached out to Compuchecks for help. They told me to contact Quicken. I have ordered from Compuchecks for several years. Unfortunately, half our orders have been wrong in some way. T make matters worse, the office seems to be open only sporadically. I was just greeted with a recording to "call back in a week when we'll reopen" message. This as I received only 1 of the 4 items ordered. This is our last interaction with Compuchecks. If I could take 5 stars away, I would. Compuchecks.com was an excellent company to deal with when I work at a different company from 2017 - 2019. This time, the customer service was terrible. They would not check with carrier on shipment delay. I had to spend over an hour to do it myself. One set of company checks did not have the "void" watermark. The checks didn't fit the envelopes purchased without an additional unscored line. Poor quality service and products. read more

I gave this business a three star. My first order was perfect. I ordered again and I was missing an item- my envelopes. I ordered 250 checks and 250 envelopes. When I called customer service she told me that she could see that the envelops were sent and to check the bottom of the box. I told her that I had emptied the box and that they weren't there. The CSR told me that she would send the envelopes to me 'again'. AGAIN! I didn't receive them the first time. I corrected her and reiterated that I didn't receive them the first time. That when she sends them to me, this will be the first time that I will receive them. The audacity of her! I ordered 250 checks, and the same amount of envelopes. She implied that I was lying to get more envelopes! Looks like someone needs an Operations Manager to oversee Quality and Customer Service. read more

There was an error when my checks were reprinted. No big deal - mistakes happen but the customer service clerk was so adamant that the information was provided incorrectly which of course, wasn't true. What happened to the customer is always right? More importantly, why don't they send proofs for approval to avoid such situations? read more

I recently received an order of checks. After being diligent in checking what was entered (and it actually being a repeat order), I make my order. First, they charge an huge amount for shipping and the checks do not arrive any quicker. Second, the cannot even box the order, it arrives in a soft package. Third, there was an error on the check and when I called to report it, I found that they are only open during daytime hours, making it difficult to contact them in the evening. Last, they contend the error was entered BY ME (again, this was double-checked with a printed a hard copy). They could only offer a 25% discount on the corrected order. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! Their website clearly does not state the actual description of their check products. I ordered checks from this scam of a company. They were personal computer checks which clearly on their website does not indicate or show that there are lines or stripes on these checks. I filled out the order form provided by the company & submitted my order. I found it ODD that one of the questions on the order form was "Print Lines On checks" Yes OR No. However, I clearly indicated on my order "NO LINES". I receive my order & there are lines on the checks. Naturally, I call customer service & explain the situation to them. Mind you, I spoke with a "Bitch" of a customer service rep who tried to explain that they do not consider this stripe on the check a line. "Oh Really" Looks like a line to me. A line which clearly was not portrayed on their website picture. This woman told me to send the checks back via UPS & when they received the checks, they would issue a credit. I told her I did not feel comfortable sending back the item & having to wait for a credit. Considering how their website does not even show lines on their checks. On top of all this, they refused to refund the shipping charges for the order. This is when I called my bank to dispute the charge. The bank contacted Compuchecks for clarification. Of course they told the bank the same story about how they do not consider the stripe to be a line. They also told the bank that they offered to refund me the shipping charges. Not true. As a result of their LIES, the bank denied my claim. Not to mention that the company accused me of "Stealing" Stated that I was just trying to get free checks. NO, I was trying to get a correct order. "I would have loved to tell the customer that stealing is not something we can keep hiding from" This is the comment that the company told my bank. YES, Compuchecks, I bet you thought I would not see this comment. Guess again, I received all of your paperwork from the bank. My comment to the rep at compuchecks who sent this to my bank is, "Go Fuck yourself you stupid Bitch" Your company made a mistake & they should have resolved it. Stay clear of this company. I have been ordering from CompuChecks for many years. I found the ordering process simple and methodical and the checks always arrived exactly as ordered quite quickly. They are the best priced of anyone on the web, and certainly much cheaper than Intuit. I have never had the need to call them about anything so I cant rate their customer service, but I guess that is a good thing. read more

CompuChecks.com billed my credit card twice for the same order. I called to explain. Three days later, still not corrected. Beware.

Got emailed that checks had arrived. Couldn't find them anywhere. Waited a week because I went on vacation. Checks still didn't show. Called to report and was told to ask neighbors and look around everywhere because "they can reprint them but they'd rather not if they don't have to". Replacement order was sent at no charge. Received the replacement only to realize 12 checks into the stack that all the bank information was completely wrong. Now we are getting charged $25/check that was wrong. I call to report the error and the fees. She confirmed it was their systems error and then rattled off about how it says to double check everything before you start using. Which I would have done if I had gotten my original order on time. I was down to my last 2 checks, was relieved they arrived and immediately loaded my printer. So they refuse to cover any of the fees. Then the original shipment showed up. The bank info was correct but the alignment was screwed up. When I asked for the supervisor she was conveniently not in the office. So they're reprinting again and shipping out fastest service (so they say) but a $70 box of checks is actually costing me $370 because their system got confused. They would not give me a correctly printed order without me reordering with a 25% discount. The order should have been reprinted correctly without additional cost to me. read more
