She dragged my case on for years, disappeared one day (for 2 months) while having a baby (never even alerting us that she was due to have a child or would be taking maternity time off), left us to communicate with an unknown Attrny in another county that had no knowledge of our case. More times than I can count she failed to call for a phone appointment with me (at least 6 times I can recall). Though once in court she was able to help my case a bit, once my case was almost finished, she demanded more money to complete it. No money, no more representation. And what was the outcome? I had no more money, lost my case & all rights to my child. No police record, no DCFS record, no physical or substance abuse in my history. But I lost my case. And a ton of time & money. Now it has been over 2 yrs since Ive seen my child. Thanx alot!

I say this in all seriousness...if you're a father in need of a family law attorney for any reason,…read moreyou owe it to yourself to speak to Felicia. I experienced almost nine years of divorce and post-divorce litigation that was very acrimonious. During that time, I retained several attorneys, each time hoping that the new attorney could finally resolve the issues. Felicia was the only attorney who was able to navigate an extremely complex case and resolve the case in a way that was beneficial for me. In the end, she accomplished what no other attorney could...more time with my kids and a modification of the child support to a reasonable level. In dealing with Felicia and her staff, I never had to wonder what was going on and I never had to hassle them to return a phone call or email. She and her staff are phenomenal. You will not find a better attorney that's focused on the best interests of dads and their kids. I can't recommend Felicia Williams highly enough!

It looked like they just took the names and numbers from my JV paperwork and tried to insert that information into their 'boilerplate' JV and Memo of Agreements. Unfortunately, their JV paperwork and Memo of Agreement was structured totally different than what I gave them, which changed the agreement between the venturors so much that it missed the point of what it was trying to accomplish from the beginning. Not only that, they didn't even 'copy and paste' the names correctly. They had a name of the person in the JV paperwork that I didn't even know that was going to be a 50% venturor!! Also, the amount of money being invested was different in JV paperwork and the Memo of Agreement. The documents were so far 'off' from what the intention was that I couldn't even use them and I felt they couldn't be edited to be corrected. They charged me $1250 for their work that in my estimation should have taken an attorney (or assistant) no more than 2-3 hours total. I asked for some kind of discount b/c I didn't even use what they sent me (and I thought the amount was high to begin with). $50 off was offered. On the positive side, their attempt to complete the work was done quickly, which is why I gave them a 2 star rating vs a 1 star rating. So at least I had time to scramble to find another way to get what I was trying to accomplish done.

Then I ran into another issue, talked to their paralegal, who seemed confident that he and the attorneys could help. So I called the front and gave them the retainer. Then crickets. This was a matter that could've been solved with a letter, maybe two, from an attorney. I wrote a termination letter and received my money back promptly. Then a few days ago, I get a call asking about the "other matter" that I needed to hire them for. I called back the next day and told them that they don't care to call back for a few months, and I had paid the retainer and not heard back, so I feel like no one there cares.
