I was looking for a new Obgyn and I had made an appointment to be seen here. I must have forgotten to note it in my calendar but did not see any text or call about my appointment. Well then I receive a no show fee bill of $25 for this. I am familiar with how no show fees work but I was not told of this in my appointment making. I called to try to have them disregard this but Tatiana the manager did not want to cancel it. I do not find this fair but I paid it. Dr's are amazing .... Front desk receptionists are horrible. I came for both my pregnancies and in that 2 years I got hung up on over 5 times to make a simple check up's. At first i thought it had to be accidental but it would continue to happen. Truly believe they judt have way to many patients and the could careless. read more

As a first time mom, I really wish I went with a different place. Communication is horrible, they didn't explain my test results, didn't explain what was going on in the ultrasound, the tech was in training and had no clue what she was doing.... They never call back either. read more

This place is horrible. I'm seven months pregnant. My husband came from DR on Monday. He caught the flu there and I had the flu too. I didn't go to work that Tuesday; I had an appointment on Wednesday at 11:30am. I called at 9am to explain the situation, like Hey, I have the flu, can I do telemedicine and get a note or can I come in. The girl who answered the phone was so rude. I explained my situation to her, and she said we could cancel. I said okay, can I get a note because I'm sick? She told me NO, caught herself, and said Let me transfer you to the medical assistance. Medical assistance told me to go to urgent care and transfer me back to reschedule my appointment. This girl got back on the phone, asking me what I wanted. I'm like Huh, am I not pregnant? Did I not have an appointment? What do you mean I'm trying to reschedule? I decided I'll change my doctor, I do not have to deal with this rudeness, not when I'm pregnant. I'm literally in tears right now. I was told the manager will give me a call. I paid for private insurance out of pocket when I got there. This is the worse experience ever. I've had nothing but horrible experiences with this office. It's so disorganized! Every single time I've booked an appointment, they've ended up cancelling it and advising me to call and reschedule. But when you call you can't ever speak to someone, and you have to leave a voicemail then they MIGHT call back in two days. Most of the time, I would have to call back and leave another message before I could hear back from them even once. Then one time, they scheduled for me to come in for an appointment when they were ALL GONE FOR LUNCH! How can someone be so incompetent to schedule someone at 12:30PM, while KNOWING that your entire office is gone from 12-1:30PM every single day? I literally left my job early (losing out on pay) to go to that appointment and absolutely no one cared or even apologized for inconveniencing me for absolutely no reason. On another occasion, I had an appointment scheduled for testing and I asked them (while scheduling the appointment) how much the out of pocket cost would be, just so I could be prepared beforehand. They stated they would call me within 24 hours to let me know. I received a call A WEEK later (the night before my appointment), and they left me a voicemail right before they were closing asking me to call them back. I called them back immediately but of course they were already closed. I get to my appointment the next morning and I'm advised that I have to pay almost $400 up front before I can go in to be seen. The girl at the front desk then has the audacity to say "we tried to call you yesterday and couldn't reach you," KNOWING that they called me a couple of minutes before closing. Needless to say, I will never come back here. It sucks because Dr. Bernard is great, but that office is so incredibly disorganized and full of incompetence. read more

I just moved to FL couple months ago and in need of finding a good OBGYN, I'm glad I found Dr. Magua! Despite some downside reviews, I still decided to make an appointment with her. Most of reviews say that the wait time is LONG, so I was fully prepared for my first appointment. I brought my laptop with me, I was going to do some work while waiting. I only waited for 10 minutes! I described my issues to Dr. Magua, she informed me what tests I need to do in advance, so I know what I will be billed. On my second visit, my husband went with me for the result. Dr. Magua was taking her time and patiently explained everything to us and answered to all our questions. On my surgery day, we still had some doubts. Dr. Magua explained more to us and gave us time to decide. She didn't rush us at all. My surgery took longer than expected, my husband was very worried. He told me afterwards that when Dr. Magua came to tell him how did it go, she gave him a thumb up through window before walking into the waiting room. This sweet move did put him at ease right away! At my post-op, Dr. Magua talked to us thoroughly about things that I should or shouldn't do at home. Overall, she makes us feel like she is a friend of ours, put our worries at ease. She's friendly and professionally. We trust Dr. Magua and really glad to have her as my OBGYN. The staff at clinic were nice and helpful. They have their own lab next door, so I didn't need to go to other place to get the blood test done. They also have ultrasound technician on site, they were able to squeeze me in for ultrasound on the same day, so i didn't need to come back again. Make the visit convenient and efficient. read more

I LOVE DR. SANTIAGO! THE GIRLS ARE JUST AS AMAZING. This office is great!! Dr. Santiago is so patient and thorough. He took the time to go over everything for my current pregnancy. Dr. Santiago and his nurses and office staff really care about their patients. The facility was super clean and organized. Worst OBGYN office I've ever been to. It's crazy that so many people know about this place and out of 6 woman I personally know, only 1 recommends and that is because one of the MD delivered her daughter (even though her birth story has me confused on how she still has positive things to say about the MD and office) but nonetheless, i do not recommend this place to anybody. The front desk is rude and does not take pride in quality of care for patients and expecting mothers. You will be sitting in the waiting room for no less than an hour and a half then taken back to the exam room for 5 min eval. Staff here is not knowledgeable and lead with possibilities and opinions, not fact. They are also VERY dismissive to health complaints. Beware. read more

Where to begin, because from the very beginning this clinic has shown how unprofessional they can be. Starting with the interactions you have with the receptionist Demaris, you will be disappointed. She is rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional in her approach to customer service. Additionally, there is no communication between the medical assistants this causing emotional distress to the patient. The other nursing staff does not communicate either apparently and will send you to get unnecessary procedures done due to their lack of attention to detail. I went for 9 months with my wife and when the murce Mercedes is there the process it's nasty, she's racist with the hispanic people, unprofessional, she treat my wife like sh*t, and she's pregnan, I speak with the manager and she said it's not the first time she have that problems with this nurse(Mercedes). she make my wife wait alone because they have a process and I understand but after she leave my wife alone in the room when the other nurses always come for me, she never do that because I'm Hispani. On their website it lists insurance that they accept. I was going to book an appointment because it listed Medicaid. I picked 2 different doctors & neither accepted the insurance. ‍ Especially managed care cases. So if this is the insurance you have Please look elsewhere. Don't waste your time. If I could give 0 stars I would. The office itself is very nice and clean, but their wait times are horrible. At every appointment I was in the waiting room for over thirty minutes past my appointment time. When I decided to switch doctors I had to continuously call to have them fax over my records because they did not send everything over the first time. Calling is a nightmare as well, the first time I called about my records I was in hold for ten minutes... the second time I spent over 15 minutes on hold just to be told I had to leave a message and they would call me back. On top of all that I received a bill for blood work that was over $1500... when I called to ask them about it they told me it was all routine blood work that is done for every pregnant patient, yet my insurance considered it experimental genetic testing. That sounds pretty questionable to me...After 6 calls and multiple emails absolutely nothing got resolved!!! The office manager is a joke and acted like she had no idea I was having an issue until I finally started using emails so that there would be a paper trail. There are plenty of other good offices in the area that aren't going to waste your time or money the way this one will! read more

I made an appointment for a 4D ultrasound, I arrived at the scheduled time, I checked in and paid, I was called and I was super excited and happy to see the faces of the twins. I sat in the chair to do the ultrasound and the doctor asked me if I was patient and I said no, he asked me the name of my doctor, he made a horrible face and said you can not do the ultrasound, and when I made the shedule for the appointment I said that I was not patient and they said that it would not be a problem! the doctor treated us badly and said that I would not do it, I felt pessimistic about the situation as I was treated and a lot of lack of professionalism! In the web site contains a page talking mark your note and do not have any explanation about it that I should be patient to do because the procedure is not for medical purposes but for memories! read more

Dr Magua is by far the best doctor EVER! Considering I've been a high risk patient and see another doctor on the side, she is amazing! Extremely patient, very honest, and very informative! To start, the reason Dr. Rivas even receives 1 star is because my baby daughter is alive and well (and I don't have the option to leave 0 stars). Throughout my pregnancy, I received minimal care. He chuckled at me when I told him that I was severely depressed during pregnancy. I assumed this was "normal" since it was my first pregnancy. He scheduled my induction for 2 days after my due date, which went well, but after only 1 hour of labor my daughter wasn't quite ready to come out yet. No health concerns for myself or the baby, so we could have just discussed options or given her some time. Instead, he did not speak to me and he gave me a 4th degree episiotomy without any warning or reason. She was only 7 lbs 1 oz so there was no reason for the episiotomy. I still suffer from this today (2 years later). I was struggling to even care for my newborn daughter, so I visited his office quickly after the labor (knowing the pain I was in was not normal). I was only then told that I had the fourth degree episiotomy (he did not tell me after doing it...his words were "a little cut"). Continuing on, I saw him for my 6 week post-delivery appointment. I described my pain level still being an 8 and how I couldn't even think about going walking or even on errands. He did not even examine me (not even a glance!) and cleared me to exercise. This made NO SENSE to me since I could hardly walk to different rooms in my own home. I immediately found a new doctor, who saw the poor episiotomy job and I ended up having to go to a colo-rectal surgeon. I don't recommend AT ALL and I hope you save yourself the pain I will always have by NOT seeing Dr. Jose Rivas for your needs. (I don't know why my review states I am from San Francisco...probably something with my e-mail settings..but I am from South Florida) read more
