We hired Complete for our daughter's wedding. We are a catering company for weddings so we knew a lot of different DJ's. We picked Complete and LOVED our DJ Jon. He's absolutely great and fun and really got into his job. We also had Complete do our uplighting and they even did a custom monogram with the couples initials. It was perfectly our daughter- she monograms everything. I can't tell you enough great things about Complete. The owner Tia is amazing. We used Complete Music as our Wedding DJ and got fantastic reviews. The DJ was extremely helpful - offering everything from requests to refilling our drinks, professional, and played great music. The prompt reply - within just an hour of requesting informaation - sold us initially and we were happy all the way through the evengin. We were able to send special songs to make sure we had the correct version. The DJ went around during dinner and asked all the tables for any requests- even buying an entire soundtrack to get a family favorite request. ***DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A REALLY LONG POST BUT NECESSARY*** Absolute nightmare! If there was a way to give less than 1-star I would. We booked Complete Weddings and Events for our May wedding. They were responsible for our photographer and our DJ. We completed our online profile weeks in advance to ensure that everyone had the right information. The profile was great and allowed for peace of mind. It asked about special requests, events and family dynamics! I felt that everything was covered. I sat down with our DJ the week before to cover everything in more detail. We went over specific songs, as he was DJing our ceremony as well. We also discussed anything we didn't want. Specifically- a ton of line dances. We did not want a ton of cheesy line dances. Fast forward to our wedding - 80% of the songs played were cheesy line dances and the DJ was out there dancing for every single one of them. Not exactly what we were looking for. Now our photographer. I can get over the DJ being a little goofier than planned but I can't get over the photographer. We spoke before the wedding to nail down specifics. We talked about my family and anything special we wanted photographed. We discussed having her meet the groom to take getting ready/group photos of them before driving up the mountain to take bridal party pictures. The night before she texts me stating she is coming to us first. In my mind, when a professional changes the plan last minute- it means she has a better plan. She didn't. She was a deer in the headlights. She couldn't take pictures of us because we weren't ready yet. She took pictures of my shoes, rings, bouquet and dress (which I will admit, look great) but aside from that she wasted a lot of time. By the time a few of us were ready, we had to rush so that she could drive back down the mountain (25 minutes) to take photos of the guys. Pictures of me getting in my dress with my mom and mother in law, which are extremely important, were an after thought to her. No staging, my MIL was in shorts and a t-shirt with no make-up, my mom wasn't in her dress and most of the photos with her in it only show half of her. This is the woman that raised me and there are maybe 4 photos of her total from our wedding. That was devastating for both of us. She goes to take photos of the guys and returns for the ceremony. I am not sure what she was doing between the time they got back to the time my ceremony was beginning but right as it was about to start she was standing in a cabin asking about first look pictures. I had to tell her that the groom was about to walk down the aisle in a matter of seconds and she was going to miss it. That is not my job as the bride. Family photos were hellish. They were disorganized, the majority of them off center and absolutely no thought put into them at all. We then had to remind her to take photos of just us, seeing as it's our wedding. She took a few photos, no staging and then went about her business. The whole experience was stressful, thoughtless and the end result extremely disappointing. We paid a great deal of money for photos that could have easily been taken by a relative for free. I requested a meeting with the owner Dan and GM Jeff after our event to discuss my disappointment. They asked that I wait to see the finish product to see if my feelings change- they didn't. Our wedding was beautiful, the best day of my life and the only thing we have to remember it by just makes us sad. I reached out to them to share my thoughts and their response was essentially, "Thank you for the feedback." Absolutely nothing was done to correct the situation. We can't get that day back. Our videographer, Jimmy, was absolutely incredible! Tyler, our DJ, was also a perfect fit for our wedding. Each vendor filled their role, and then some! Management staff, Dan and Jeff, were easy to work with and really made sure to take care of us. Our wedding was perfect, and we thank COMPLETE for being part of our day and making sure that their roles went smoothly. Highly recommend this company, and their prices are very reasonable.
