I recently had the pleasure of visiting Integrative Physical Medicine . I had a slip and fall accident which resulted in a lower back injury that was causing me some severe pain. I was offered a complimentary consultation and wellness exam which included xrays... I was shocked because those xrays were offered to me at no charge as well, we all know how costly xrays can be. During my exam I met Dr.Durfee who was very polite and took his time to listen to all of my aches and pains (I had many). After meeting Dr. Durfee, the nurse practicioner came in (Lew) she had a very warm and friendly personality and she went over some issues I was having also. After my consultation and exam I was scheduled to come back and go over my results the front desk staff was friendly and worked to find me an appointment that could fit my schedule. Apon, my return they went over the results of my xrays and offered me some in office physical therapy and injections that would help to reduce my pain. The best part is that the injections are made of a more natural substance and we're better for my body. I specifically liked the fact that they didn't offer me pain pills and send me out the door. They notified me of my problem and offered solutions on how to help me. I started doing physical therapy and the office had hours to accommodate my needs but, the best part was they helped me to figure out if they accepted my insurance. The staff was nice and the vibe inside the clinic was fun and upbeat!!! This is definitely a place that I would recommend to my family as well as anyone else!!! I was a patient at this office and everyone there was very nice and very helpful.And when I did not understand how to use any of the exercise equipment someone was always there to help.and if I had a hard time doing it they would help. I've worked at Integrative physical medicine for close to a year now and I love it. I have witness so many patients come in hurting and within visits they start to feel better. Its awesome to watch the transformation happen right in front of you. I have seen many patient come in very grumpy because of their level of pain but to see the joy in their eyes when they final out and no longer have to live in pain is absolutely priceless. I had an excellent experience at this clinic. I walked in and the front desk office staff were very friendly. I didn't have to wait a while to be seen. I had to bring my children with me to my appointment and the medical staff was very engaging with them. I was able to receive my treatment without any hassle. The chiropractor was great. He adjusted me, and I noticeably could tell a difference right away. I was able to turn my head without any pain. Lastly, the office was very clean and up to date. I was in need of a massage for my neck and shoulder pain, seeing an ad for their facility I took advantage of it. From the front desk, which was friendly and professional, to the facility itself, it was clean and decorated well! Then I got my massage, explaining my trigger points. She worked on me for an hour really working those "sore" muscles and nerves. The relief was immediate and I have continued to do well for a month. After an atv accident integrative physical medicine of winter haven was a very excellent place to get help. I was offered a free x-Ray and exam, and diagnosed with a separated shoulder.
