Higgins was eleven years old and, over the years he developed bladder and liver issues and Cushing's disease. In his last year he also developed sugar diabetes. During the last six years Higgins has been treated at Blake Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Blake and his talented and caring staff are a VERY rare find. A week ago, we had to put Higgins down. That caring was again shown by Dr. Blake and his staff. A sincere thank you. Ron and Sherry Metz

Dr Blake and each and everyone of his staff from the techs to nurses front desk - were amazing with us they cared for him and the others with all the love. They took their time to explain and make us feel comfortable and understand what treatment and diagnosis was. Without fail they called us 2x/day with updates and allowed us to visit while he had his stay. I can't state enough how grateful we are for this exceptional team. They are reasonably priced and beyond that the care they extend to you and your pet family is priceless. They are available to answer all questions at all hours. Recommend without hesitation! They are honest, clear, transparent and trustworthy. Come here for your annual visits and vaccinations, to unexpected illness and you'll see how much they care.

I'm sorry to be the one to leave a bad review but I'm beyond angry with this place. We took our dog…read morehere 4/10 for 2 lumps that were brand new. At that time the vet told us it's probably just a skin infection, he needed to be groomed and put him on an antibiotic. She briefly mentioned the idea of a biopsy but quickly convinced us it wasn't necessary. Fast forward lumps didn't respond to antibiotics, got him groomed, skin and behavior got worse. We brought him back at this time now she is concerned it's cancer! Which turns out it was! But not until we had to go to Fetch to have an actual work up done where the results came back within 24 hours and the biopsy we paid this place to do took almost 10 days! And the results were called to us and let's just say as an Oncology nurse it's a disgrace how they reported them to us. Fetch sent us a visit summary that was as detailed as a hospital visit a human would have. This place may have cost us precious time. A new lump should always be biopsied especially in a golden retriever a breed known to have cancer! Now his cancer has progressed and instead of being able to have surgery to remove the lumps we are looking at chemotherapy and less time with our dog on Earth. DO NOT GO HERE for an emergency or serious issue!!!

Everyone we met was very friendly and professional. Any questions or concerns we brought up were addressed. We were very pleased with the staff and doctor that we spoke to today and feel confident that we have found a place we believe will take great care of our new puppy. Thank you.
