Likely, the hardest part for most of us is the first step, but a place that makes it easy to take that first step deserves recognition. As a mental health professional myself, I have touted the benefits of counseling for years. I have often referred clients to sessions as an intervention modality. I always told myself that I would polish my craft by attending myself - opening myself up to blind spots, and ensuring that I truly felt that I was on the right track. I attempted to receive services from another local agency and had a terrible logistical experience. After that debacle that set me back 3 weeks, I searched Psychology today for a LCSW that takes UMR insurance. I was referred to Ms. Flores, who referred me to another LCSW in the practice at Starfish. It's important for me to receive services from a Social Worker, as I am one myself, and understand that Social Workers focus on the person in the environment and address needs in a unique way compared to an LPC or Psychotherapist. This practice employs at least 3 LCSW's, and at least 2 offer evening and weekend appointments, which I needed. The office is inside of an office suite. It's best to enter on the West Side, where a small sign denotes suite ranges. Look for the one that includes 145. From first glance this place appeared to be for children or adolescents, but don't be dissuaded. They can serve an array of people with various presenting issues or concerns. Sign-in was simple, I pay $30 a session (once again, United Healthcare), and I see my counselor weekly each Monday at 6:30. I have been really pleased with my increased focus and vision, and would absoultely recommend this agency to anyone seeking to receive a mental health tune up or perspective overhaul. Regardless of whether you check out Starfish, get the mental boost you need, if you ever feel you need it. The first step is the hardest, but once you make that step, someone will be right there to walk alongside.

My fiancé and I were wanting to take the initiative to start pre-marital counseling for a while. Then we got into a fight that made us realize that it would be best for us to do find someone ASAP. So I called my work's EAP and found Jewel, our therapist through them. She is great, and we have nothing bad to say about her. My complaint is about the front office! Due to my fiancé's work schedule, we have to call every week to schedule our weekly appointment. The problem with that is that the front office NEVER picks up the phone!! According to my phone, I have called every week about 70+ times just to get one appointment for the following week. I have emailed them and just get an apology and to keep on calling to get an appointment. This is extremely inconvenient for me as I work in costumer service handling calls, so I cannot just keep on trying whenever. I'm just glad that I do not see a therapist here for myself. I could not imagine being a client here, being close to having a panic attack and not being able to reach my therapist because the front office never picks up the phone! Anyway, our therapist was great but the fact that the front office NEVER picks up the phone made me not want to come back since it seems as if they do not care about their clients mental health.

Headaches! Back Pain! Counseling! OH MY!…read more I have been going to ReAign Health and Wellness Center for almost a year and it has completely changed my opinion about chiropractic health care. I have to admit that really the only thing that use to keep me from going to the chiropractor was the "cracking" of the neck. After seeing my husband go through this several times, I thought he probably isnt going to break my neck, Dont be Scared!! Dr Spraberry takes the time to get to know what your problem areas are and with consistent visits you will start to notice a difference. My headaches brought me here and I have to say almost a year later I dont have headaches near the way I used to. I used to have headaches that would last a few days and the only relief I would get during that time was sleep. I now go every other week to get adjusted and I am so glad that I tried it out. ReAlign Health and Wellness Center now also has a massage therapist.....which I will be using. Dr Demond and Shay Spraberry are genuinely kind people and are here for you to get the care you need. Try them out!

Any question I asked after that, they didn't really have an answer. Seemed like they kept guessing at the information they provided me. I had made an appointment but since I was a new customer I had to fill out some paperwork. That took me 2 min to fill out and I had to wait 45 min before anyone approached me to get my service done. Just not what I expected, if they would communicate with us on the wait time that will be fine but no type of communication! There just talking about each other's kids and family kids instead of taking care of their patient.
