The medical students are very nice, but in all honesty I do not care at all to see one! Since they changed floors and offices, the office is rarely crowded anymore, but the wait is still the same. I've also heard horror stories from multiple other patients about being billed twice for their copayment because the office doesn't seem to keep their records or receipts very organized. It's happened to me a couple times where I will pay copayment and then still have a balance on my account with them. I would advise anyone interested in this office to find a different doctor, because not everyone has the time or patience to sit and wait nearly 2 1/2 hours to get a refill for their medication. I had a great experience with a medical student who was able to tell me more about the medications I was consuming than from my very own psychiatrist. Ridiculous, but true. I'm sure not all of the psychiatrists are impersonal, but most are. This makes the feel of the office the total opposite of a cozy environment, instead making it feel like just a regular scary doctors office. read more

As a doctor, I am appalled by the lack of customer care this facility provides. Their motto should be "In memory of those who died waiting for the doctor". Two appointments were made for teledoctors for my wife and nobody called for either appointment. The office staff was very polite but useless and filled with explanations that were pure crap. Told to wait all day for the Doc to call even though I have an appointment time. Told the Doc will call at some point during the day....then why appointments? If I could leave 0 stars I would. I've had 2 different appointments with two different doctors. I was told my scripts were sent before the call ended. It's been 2 months using compass health. I still don't have a single one of my meds. I've been called and told it's all set and drove to my pharmacy MULTIPLE times, only to get there and have the pharmacist tell me they have nothing for me. When you call you're out on hold for over a hour ALWAYS. You never get to speak with anyone important, it's usually a temp in their living room working remotely who has NO IDEA how to help other than "putting a note" in the system. Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep for 12 days at the beginning of October 2021 and the Memorial West hospital recommended Compass Health for sessions in helping with my anxiety. In addition, I had to open a short-term disability claim with Unum. My experience with Compass has been so awful! I have been calling them since the end of December to help me with providing medical notes to Unum so I can get paid. Its February 10th and no resolution. I shared my negative experience with Dr. Morais and her staff. I have not been properly supported. Jennifer Love has been the most unprofessional coordinator that I have ever been in contact with. I have asked her to call me directly numerous times and she has just ignored me. Is that the way patients should be treated? Will you ever submit the proper information to my disability carrier? Wish I could give 0 stars. I tried to receive help from this company, they kept canceling my appointments and switching providers. I ended up not seeing anyone at all and was charged for an appointment anyway. I have been in contact with them for 2 years and they have been extremely rude and unhelpful. I hardly ever make reviews, but I really felt compelled after my experience with this place. First, I should say that I never actually went there or saw any of the doctors; my experience is limited strictly to two phone calls, both of which were so bad, I'm writing this. I called yesterday to make an appointment with one of the doctors at this center. After waiting on hold for over seven minutes, a receptionist came back to tell me, very rudely, that the doctor I was asking about was not seeing new patients. "Are any of the doctors there accepting new patients?" I asked. She sighed loudly and with a distinct edge to her voice asked, "What insurance do you have ma'am?" She sounded like she absolutely did not want to be helping me in anyway, as if she had a million better things to be doing. I understand being frustrated at work and wanting to be doing something else. However, you're working at a *therapist's office,* where people with mental and emotional problems will be calling, many of them potentially in fragile or sensitive states, some of whom may feel shame or embarrassment at having to seek therapy. After giving her my insurance information, she put me on hold again and then returned to tell me there is one doctor seeing new patients, and there's an opening in two weeks. I accept the appointment, and at the end of the phone call she said, "Okay, so your appointment is on X at 10am at the Pembroke Pines office, have a good day, bye." I had thought this was the office in North Miami, and had I known it was not, I wouldn't have bothered making the appointment. I resolved to call the next day (today) and cancel, in hopes that I would have a better experience. Alas, I did not: I called back and was immediately put on hold for over five minutes. A woman answers and I can tell she is going to have a comparable attitude as the woman from the previous day, and she may even be the same woman (I am not good at differentiating voices). I tell her, "My name is X and I have an appointment with Dr. Y on Z at 10am." She asks, with the same sort of exasperation, "What is your date of birth?" I tell her, and she puts me on hold for another five minutes. She comes back and says, "What's your date of birth again?" I tell her, and she cancels my appointment. My mother is a patient at this facility and was given the wrong medicine and she ended up in the ER. I called the office to speak to the office manager to let them know and to be aware of what took place. It's a month now I haven't received a call back nor any concerns about what happened to my mother.Today I had an appointment and requested for a MD and not the nurse practitioner who I normally have my appointments with. I never received a call from the doctor for her telehealth appointment. My mother is out of medicine and not one person seems to care.I called them three times about the appointment and still haven't received a call for the appointment. This company has got to be one of the most irresponsible healthcare companies I have come across. There doctors are no show, the initial phone staff that does the pre screening and collecting information seem responsible and professional but when it comes to doctors showing up for patient appointments; I would give them an F. Absolutely irresponsable with their patients. This is my 3rd appointment and 3rd no show by their doctors. I'm not sure really what to think. Are these doctors overbooked, do they just bump patients along until a possible janitor picks up the phones and gives advice on medications, or is this a company that honestly has no doctors and just collects information, say Dr. X will be calling you at 3:00pm and throws the message in the garbage.
