If ever you catch wind of a show happening at The Sonic Temple, be sure to grab up on tickets ASAP. Its an experience! The space is quite small, housing just under 70 people, so performances are intimate, engaged and high quality. The A-frame ceiling of this 1820s heritage home sets up an epic shelter with hanging candle holders and sky lights to boot. More candles scatter around the walls and ledges, highlighting gorgeous brick walls and its backdrop behind the 'stage'. (More of a large carpet then an actual stage.) Its part of the Sonic Entertainment building on Hollis street and not a venue that is open to the public on the regular. Thats why you've got to keep your ears open! The Temple is built by artists, for artists as a place of solitude to facilitate the recording process. Maritime artists like Joel Plaskett, Matt Mays, Symphony Nova Scotia have all recorded here. (to name a few!) Who knows when the next show will be... ('Post Data' just held a show there March 7 & 8th) but to have this place on your radar is certainly not a bad idea. And if you're a musician looking to master an album, The Sonic Temple is the cream of the crop. An incredible use of space to draw inspiration from both artist and audience...

I was a fan even before they hired me!…read more Yes, I worked for Creative Atlantic before. I worked for them about a year or so ago for about a year. This is a Production company that produces great shows! One of my favorite that is out there right now on the Women's Network is called Remedy Me. It's about people who have physical problems that they want to cure in a naturopathic way. The show was great to work on and the results from a lot of these people who tried the naturopathy were amazing! But would I give an honest review if I didn't think they cut it? Yes, of course. I have no sensor.lol. But this is one of those companies that I loved working for and who do produce a product people really enjoy! They offer high quality to any Broadcaster and have done so through documentaries, television documentary series, comedy shows and a bunch more. The two owners / creators of Creative Atlantic, Janice and Greg, know what people want but also know how to put their own stamp on it to make the project unique and original. The people here are just great! The products they pump out of here are great and the whole experience whether you are an employee or whether you are a customer is great as well! Enough said.

Fist let me say, we were nervous. The staff offered us a drink (non alcoholic), and we relaxed (as much as we could) in this great room, the decor was so fun, vibrant colors on the walls, egg like shapes covering lights , just a great overall feel. Don the Radio Director was so nice, he just kept saying relax, have fun, it really was a fantastic experience. As you can tell, I do not have the experience of my fellow yelper Joshua, but I would say this company has everything you could possibly be looking for. I will say the parking is none. You will have to park at the Metro Parking down the street. Don was nice enough to give me a heads up on this before we went.

Egg Films has won numerous awards for innovative and original marketing. I have worked for them as an Actor for over thirty commercials in television, radio and the Internet. So I know first hand how professional they are and how committed they are to having a very strong product. I guess this then begs the question, am I biased or not. My answer would be a no simply because of one fact; I also work for their competitors. Admittedly they don't have many competitors and there are even less who can compete at their level of production. But I still go over to other studios and perform for their commercials whenever I get the call. They don't just look for actors for commercials however. They also do the production of commercials and animations as well. Whether it is print campaign's, television commercials or content made for the Internet, they do it and are the best at it in Atlantic Canada. There are more services than I am even aware of however, so give them a call if you need to know more. I can't say enough great things about Egg Films and how talented they are. Their staff are all creative people who are very friendly and fun to work with. They simply do it right and the awards they have won and undoubtedly will win in the future speak to this truth. So if you want to be in a commercial or need one developed, Egg Films is one of the best phone calls you could ever make.
