Untrustworthy, deceptive, disrespectful, and happy to lie and take advantage of people…read more I had an emergency with my rabbit and couldn't go to my amazing local vet so I called Eagle Ridge and asked if they had a vet who was experienced with rabbits. They told me they did, but Dr. Ong was in surgery and could see me at a certain time. If she was not able to get out out of surgery I could like my rabbit and she'd see him. When I made the long trek to this hospital they put me in with some absolutely random vet named Dr. Yip, who just had some business cards with his name hand written on them...and introduced himself to me 3 times. This inexperienced vet spoke down to me, had no idea about the most basic things to do with rabbits, and made me feel like I was incompetent (look in the mirror, Dr. Yip!) I complained to the main desk and they lied to me and said all along I had an appointment with this random person who I'd never heard of before. I have no confidence at all that this hospital knows how to deal with patients and rabbits, despite Dr. Ong supposedly being experienced with them. There is no way I would have wasted my time and SO MUCH MONEY (they seriously overcharge) to take my rabbit who was having an emergency to such a far place to be seen by someone who is so completely clueless. I don't know why this place feels like they can take advantage of people and be so disrespectful. No wonder their clinic lobby was completely empty.

My dog, Ginger, was 10 years old before his passing. He was the sweetest miniature poodle you could…read moreever know. He would jump on you whenever you came to visit, and people would be surprised when I tell them his age because he is just that joyful. He did not deserve to have his health in the hands of these deceitful, useless, vets (Dr Wong and Dr Biernacki) who should have their licenses taken away immediately. A week before Ginger's passing, we made a decision that we should have made years ago: to bring him to a better hospital. There they found a significant mass stretching from his diaphragm to his bladder, and he had an estimate of a few days to a week left. About a month before that, my parents brought Ginger to North Road for diarrhea, vomiting, and lack of appetite. There the only thing they did was give him Veraflox, an antibiotic for bacterial infection. When I told another vet about this she said she didn't know why this was prescribed to him. No recommendation for imaging was made at the time, which I now realize was insanely negligent as they KNEW he had cancer. I called Dr Biernacki about this but I had a lot of trouble understanding what he was saying. But the incompetence started even before that, back in May when my mom herself made an appointment with Dr Wong because she was concerned about his Cancer, Dr Wong flat out dismissed it. When I called him a week ago for an explanation he ACTUALLY had the audacity to lie about it, saying he "recommended CT scans" and that there was a "language barrier" issue with my Mom. How completely abhorrent could you be to say something so highly insulting? Saying her english got in the way of making a decision that would prolong her dogs life? Do you have ANY idea what Ginger means to me and my family? No effort to follow up was ever made. When I called Dr Wong for closure, whom I waited hours for to call me, referred to Ginger as "she" again after 1 MINUTE of correcting him. These people clearly put no value in their job, let alone care about your pets. To conclude this review, if you love your dogs in the slightest, get away from this place ASAP.

She was my whole world...and I'm starting therapy next month because of her traumatic death at the hands of Dr Juila Chong (Dr.Maja was off that day) as well as the vet techs who was working there that day. It was noon and she was dead. Pinto simply never came home. It seems like the spay went well according to their report, however the extubation had significant complications resulting in Pinto being re-sedated and her heart stopped 40 minutes later. They didn't have sufficient expertise on site to remove something so common and routine. The Endotracheal tube in the photos they sent me appears to be a spiral fracture - was there twisting force upon removal attempt? Can the tech please describe exactly how they attempted to remove the ETT and can Dr Chong please describe how the tube ended up so far down Pinto's trachea as to be very close to her bronchi? I'll never get the answer to that question because soon after I started asking very reasonable questions about her death they started answering from emails ending with the VCA domain - I felt so betrayed as I would NEVER take my baby to a clinic owned by Mars. There are VCA decals visible on their front door when my partner went to pick up her ashes(as I had a panic attack at the car afterwards), but prior to that, there was no instance on their website being transparent about this. If you want to follow my story getting justice for Pinto, you can do so @pintotheaussie on IG . I'm always happy to share as much as I can about what happened here, as I strongly feel taking your dog here is insanely risky - ESPECIALLY if intubation is part of your pup's treatment. This included teeth cleanings as well as surgery.

When realizing this and…read morecalling back about it only moments after leaving they refused a return despite taped safety sealed packs and wouldn't acknowledge that they are overcharging for basic flea/tick medication (1yr supply of flea and tick was $130 more than our last vet for the identical product!!). Checked my invoices and their vaccines are also 37% higher on this too!! One visit to this place has cost me literally hundreds more than our last vet in Olympic village for the exact same routine vaccines and yearly supply of flea and tick. Shocking that they can charge so much more on standard items. From the other reviews here I'm not the only one who has had this experience. If your looking for a fair, equitable and community minded veterinarian... keep looking.

Lincoln Animal Hospital - My dog's ear got worse after this vet treatment

If I could rate 0 star, I definitely do, I had been taking…read moremy dog to Lincoln Animal Hospital for 8 years, initially under the care of Dr. Ali Sadaghdaar, whom I truly trusted and respected. Unfortunately, he left the clinic for reasons unknown, and shortly after, another competent vet, Dr. Ali Fakheri, joined--but he, too, left very quickly. We were then left with no choice but to see another vet named Mary Habib. I'm honestly hesitant to even call her a doctor. She saw my dog twice, both times for the exact same issue--a recurring ear infection. The first time, she prescribed ear drops, which temporarily helped. Two months later, the infection returned. This time, she took a sample and said the bacterial growth was "very very tiny small," then prescribed another drop. I reminded her that this was the same issue from just two months ago and asked for a long-term solution. Her response? "There is no permanent cure." Really? If this clinic can not even properly treat a simple ear infection, I seriously question how some of their vets received their degrees. This latest prescription made my dog's condition worse--her ear became red, swollen, and extremely hot. Concerned, I consulted a veterinarian outside of Canada, followed their advice, and thankfully, my dog's ear returned to normal. I will never recommend this clinic. Either they lack the proper medical knowledge, or they purposely give temporary relief just so pet owners keep coming back, paying more each time. It feels like they see our beloved pets as nothing more than walking dollar signs. Shameful.

They seems to only care about squeezing money out of you with any way possible. I unfortunately have to agree with other comments here... they visit for 5 minutes and charge you 60 dollars!
