I happened to run across this park and accompanying community center. The building was closed, but I was still able to check out the grounds and park. (The park is across the street from the community center.) There is a playground for children, and the grounds are well maintained. Some day, I'll have to check out what is offered inside. Whenever I have an opportunity to come here, I take full advantage. Sometimes, Keep Fort Worth Beautiful, under the leadership of Debbie Branch, will conduct composting or recycling classes. This is also the base of operations for the many Trash Bash events held throughout the year. Don't pass on any chance to visit your neighborhood center. It is your tax dollars at work.

Most people think it can't be that good at a rec center but the teachers here are awesome. I have taken zumba here for a year so I know it is a great class but I recently discovered the yoga class. The yoga teacher is seasoned and very helpful to new students. I have not yet ventured into the tai chi class can't comment on that one. You really cannot beat the price for what you get plus you can make some great friends who will keep you motivated. The class schedule is on their website.
